We got our 18 month baby girl a baby doll so she could get used to having another baby around. She’s really attached to the baby now so I’m hoping she’ll love her baby brother just as much.

when i was little my parents got me a baby doll and named it after my brother so that i could practice being an older sister and i still have fond memories. they also got me a small present when i met him and said that my brother got me the gift. i think it helped me realize that the baby was nice haha
i thought it was a boy but the way she’s talking it sounds like she is having a girl... excited either way though!
My advice from my preschool teacher background is to have a few small gifts you can give Cove when people bring a gift for the new baby. Cove is too young to understand (they grow out of this stage around 5/6) why she doesn't get a gift so this will help! 💗

In her Instagram post announcing that she’s uploading the gender reveal this Wednesday I noticed the dress she’s wearing in the black & white photo was one I saw on the Luca and Grae website.. it’s a light blue/green color so now I’m totally thinking it’s a boy!!!💙

A lot of people have issues with switching to a toddler bed because they also move them into a new room at the same time. its too much at once. i highly suggest you get her used to a toddler bed before switching her room :)

Highly recommend any pregnant mummas to get a pregnancy pillow. It helped with my round ligament pain sooo much when I was 4 months. Looking back at photos now, I had basically no bump back then, but I've used the pillow ever since and it's a god send! Well worth the money.

I’m definitely putting my money on baby number two being a girl! I’m pregnant with my second baby girl and due one week after Aspyn❤️ team girl 🤪💕
I recommend putting her crib mattress on the floor in her room now and seeing how it goes. I moved my daughter to a bed when she was 20 months old and she did ok but constantly would get out of bed. If you are going to have her on another floor of the house, I would transition her to not being in a crib while she is still close to where you sleep

everyone told me my 2nd baby wouldn’t be as great of a newborn as my 1st but he is!
It’s quite easy to manage both kids schedules. I plan/planned feedings and naps around our outings. I know you took the taking cara babies and that’s helped me manage naps out of the house and in the house. Now my baby is 8 months old and both kids are on the same nap schedule. I have a flexible schedule for their nap but i always plan her first nap out to make sure her wake window is long enough to put her down with her brother in the afternoon. I got sidetracked but only in the first month or two it’s unpredicted schedule
When she talked about telling cove she said do you want a brother [pause] or a sister. That makes it seem like it’s a boy
