ill get you the link i used for mine, it came with tweeters as well and not all audi come with amps, mine did, but install is slightly the same, you wont have to connect the RCA cables, youd simply just connect colors IF you dont have the amp (amp location is passenger side trunk behind the panel above the wheel arch (sorry for long reply) www.amazon.com/Alpine-S-S65C-6-5-Speaker-Bundle/dp/B07D2MD6KY/ref=sr_1_10?crid=BGOKLWF21HZO&keywords=alpine+type+s+speaker&qid=1696975356&sprefix=alpine+type+s+speaker%2Caps%2C71&sr=8-10&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.18ed3cb5-28d5-4975-8bc7-93deae8f9840
@@NoDayz0ff at least i can do the front speakers, i’ll leave the rest for someone else 😆😆 The speakers you used are too hard to find in the UK, would any other 6.5” alpine be as easy? Thank you, sorry new to speaker upgrades
@@MrNaparcaspeakers are all pretty much the same all around, main difference is quality in the sound, just make sure they’re the same size and it’ll fit perfectly
i simply unplugged the old tweeters, removed it and installed new ones which already had wires connected to them, then just ran those two wires the buttom door speaker and to remove the tweeters, they pop out of that plastic mesh
But your fix Will only Help when u have the BOSE system in your B6/b7, all other Soundsystems have no screws for the speaker, they are all made in plastic and melted in the Cover 😊 Sry im German 😅
@@NoDayz0ff Dismantling ist possible, but i either have to replace the housing and the speaker completely or modify the housing as in other Videos, i decided to build Adapters Out of MDF. By the way, IT IS highly recommended to insulate the door :)
Genius! Thank you
You’re welcome 🙏🏼
What size speakers and tweeters for front and rear? I also have a b6 1.8T and thinking of upgrading. Also, do you need an amp?

what did you do for subwoofer replacement?
@@jcb3354 OEM, stock sub works fantastic with the upgraded speakers and head unit fantastic, no need to replace it

Will this be the same for a convertible b6?
Yes it will, but the rear speakers are different being the convertible is only a 2 door

How were you able to disconnect the tweeter? I can't get mine to go
disconnect it as to what? like the connection to the bigger speaker or to the door housing for the tweeter itself
@@NoDayz0ff how he got the wires out of the tweeter itself. He just pulls it out while it's off camera
