@@TOOTSIEVSHOP I’m not sure exactly, you’re best bet is to check google, on most vehicles they’re located on one of the coolant hoses, on the block or near the intake manifold

@@marvinnona1733 I’m sure you were just as pissed as I was, upsetting we spend so much on good products and stuff like that happens, they need to make a revision of that filter attachment with a “lip” so it has something to hold on to and not plastic that is brittle

I dont, but after trial and error I do believe its variant 03, if its not just go to variant 04, 05 etc until you get the boost guage and image you want, itll also change the on/off screen as well

@@NoDayz0ff Dismantling ist possible, but i either have to replace the housing and the speaker completely or modify the housing as in other Videos, i decided to build Adapters Out of MDF. By the way, IT IS highly recommended to insulate the door :)

@@MrNaparcaspeakers are all pretty much the same all around, main difference is quality in the sound, just make sure they’re the same size and it’ll fit perfectly

not only should they be installed the correct way, theres a 10mm bolt that holds them down, but also theres a recall on the ignition coils for this issue on certain year Hyundais so contact your local dealer and see when you can bring your car in

How do I know if my Elantra is one that has a recall? If I call the dealership they will say I don’t have one but this issue keeps happening.

@@amandaromero7917you’d normally get a letter in the mail, but assuming you havnt gotten one, you can simply call the dealer with your vin and ask if you have an open recalls

disconnect it as to what? like the connection to the bigger speaker or to the door housing for the tweeter itself

@@NoDayz0ff how he got the wires out of the tweeter itself. He just pulls it out while it's off camera

i simply unplugged the old tweeters, removed it and installed new ones which already had wires connected to them, then just ran those two wires the buttom door speaker and to remove the tweeters, they pop out of that plastic mesh
