Listen, I am mustering up my empathy and sympathy for this Mom because she is still their Mom. However, where was she during all of these times. Was she suppose to be getting herself together? Was she working? Why couldn't she see them? If she had, wouldn't they have told her what was going on. Whew! I am really trying to understand what happened here.

Learn from woman's abuse centers! Certain things make them snap & kill, like having a good happy life. Document everything. I had that battle myself. He killed my baby in my womb when I was 8 1/2 myths preg. I mourned forever, but couldn't think about sharing custody. GOD BLESS & STAY SAFE HEALTHY!

Regardless if she perceived this as manipulation on Tim's part, it's obvious to anyone watching, they were distressed and needed to feel safe and loved. She said they had joint custody, but said he had primary custodial custody -- yet, she said she was unaware of all the negative things her kids went through in her absence and leading up to their deaths.

I'm amazed that she hasn't shed one single tear. I lost a son who was 33 almost nine years ago and I'll never get over it. I survived this darkest period because I had 3 more kids who needed me to help them through this tragedy. I'll never stop missing him or crying for him. When I talk about him to friends and family I always cry. But they are somewhat happy tears because they are good memories. When I'm alone, I just cry. I'm sure all loving parents do the same. She has lost all 5 at once. No tears. No one has had to give her a tissue. I would have died from a broken heart..

With all do respect, we can never truly judge with 100% accuracy just by looking at someone how they grieve over their children.
It’s wrong for any of us to assume she feels nothing or that she doesn’t care. Maybe she cries her eyes out to sleep every night, perhaps she processes her emotions differently, or maybe her spiritual side allows her to move on with life while being able to look foldly at the memories she had with them.
Or maybe she doesn’t care about them. That’s always possible. But her testimony in court here is not a reflection or demonstration of her lack of love or compassion she has with her kids.
We don’t get anywhere at all by playing armchair body language experts. We will never know what she goes through on a daily basis. No one can properly judge how a parent grieves over the loss of a child.

richlrose Because she abandoned them. She left to go live with her boyfriend and his parents. She says it’s because she couldn’t provide but she didn’t even try. She could have gotten on public assistance and they would have forced that asshole Tim to pay support. I just think she was overwhelmed and it was just easier to leave and let Tim take care of the kids. I cannot imagine leaving my children with someone who I knew was cruel and unkind. And she knew. She rarely saw the kids but when she did they told her what they were being subjected to. I keep thinking about poor Tahn at his kindergarten graduation with no one there. His little heart must have been broken. We know Tim didn’t go because of the child abuse allegations and he was pissed at the school, but where was amber? Psycho dad, shit mother.
