- Joy Lorick, a babysitter for Timothy Jones Jr., testified in his murder trial. She said she called social services on him. Jones is accused of killing all five of his children in 2014.

People are dissing this lady because she can't remember but this trial was in 2019, she worked for him in 2014. That's 5 years. I think she was wonderful.

the sad thing about it is a lot of things like this falls on deaf ears with CPS but will go to a scorned fathers house because the child's mother is butt hurt hes moved on..... makes me sick! but i'm happy she could give those sweet babies love and care when their own father didn't.

The social services and child protection services are jokes. Evil ppl hiding in sheep skin. They claim to have training in sensitive matters like this but really dont give a fuck about serving ppl. As a nurse there is no way on this God given earth that I could not perform my job to help or serve ppl in need. They will have a very hot ride to hell but not before God really deals with them. Ppl who do wrong to children need to be swiftly wiped off the face of the earth.

There was a case in my town where the father called CPS because their mother had the kids taken because she let her pos boyfriend abuse the smallest boy..he was 2..she got them back under the condition he was not to be around(the boyfriend) the mum was pretty young the man was quite a bit older with his own daughter..course she was treated like a princess..cps took an order of protection on the baby's behalf..my friend lived above her and we worked with the mother.. and the guy was there all the time and people would call but nothing would be done..probably because of who the man was..his mother owned bond companies..one night he abused the 2 year old while the mum was at the store and he stopped breathing..they told the police he choked on a cookie..the autopsy showed he had new and old broken bones and had been hit so hard he bled to death internally..the poor baby was tortured..the mother and boyfriend went to jail she stayed in jail until trial but he was bonded out and allowed to work out of state as a truck driver for a long time..they were both finally found guilty..they were suppose to be doing wellfare checks on the child..there is much speculation the daughter of the boyfriend was involved in the murder but no one knows for sure..it is so sad and scary that so many childrens lives are in their hands..his name was Levi Beaty..the little boy..he was precious..there is a lot of info about it online.
This women did not babysit, she did way more than that, she did her absolute best to care and protect these babies. She is not a sitter....She is an absolute saint. I pray that she finds peace.

I feel so bad for her. She sure seems like a loving soul. You could tell at some points she felt at such a loss. I’m actually shocked and appalled by everyone kindness towards her. If I understand correctly she didn’t report him until after she had quit and he threatened to sue her for prepaid labor she didn’t provide. She still only fed them oatmeal. She was wonderful to them however feeding children oatmeal all day every day, dirty house with roaches would warrant a call to DCF much earlier than months after she was no longer employed there. I just wish she would have spoke up sooner. At least the kids were happy and fed with her

We can't say what happens behind closed doors. My 6 out of 8 cousins all siblings were raped by my uncle their father, who had raped my mum and her older sister mum was 4 I believe it stopped at 9! I believe he did the same to my younger sister when she was 6! She is damaged but she is in denial. He hated me, I must have shown strength the others including his wife didn't have. One man has ruined so many lives and fathered children randomly in my town in Australia.
Thank God he was dead before I found out what he did and it was an abscess that burst open and I then understood why my mother would kick and flay me with an electrical cord and mentally put me down. She used me like a football.
I was constantly having to do housework even though she wasn't working most of the time. My sister was pulled out of
school so she could clean the house. The house was tiny. But everything had to be cleaned daily.
I have 4 siblings 10 years from me to the youngest and I was abused but I was the only one to visit her in over three years. I was with her until she took her last breath. My second youngest brother did come and was with me but near never left the wall he stood against.
My father had already past from meningococcal meningitis and I was blest to be with him then too. I have been privileged to be with 2 other friends as they took their last breath. One from Motor neurone and the other from complications of alcohol abuse and not being able to get out of bed to get water to drink in 100 plus degree days. He couldn't even get a home made beer just metres away.
I am grateful that he past and wanted to do so. I made a board with letters and NO and YES on the opposite side of the card.
With doctors and nurses around us I asked questions like do you know you are in hospital YES Are you in pain he would blink when I touched touched YES although I first touched NO. Do you want to die YES do you want the surgery to remove the cancerous kidney NO

He was given just that bit more to take away the pain forever. He was not alone. My friend with MN was also seen by the angel of mercy close to 3am Good Friday. She didn't want her adult children with her, no voice just her face saying no. Only I was to be with her. What a privilege to be with a woman I wished I had called mum. Because that was what she was to me.

CPS harasses parents that 95% of the time don’t deserve it - meanwhile, the really abusive ones seem to move effortlessly through the CPS system ….. their cases are quickly closed OR not even opened for investigation at all. I feel like CPS is an evil entity ….. I hope one day it is dismantled and a real system to help children is put in its place. But honestly, I don’t have high expectations that will ever happen.

BrandonsWifey03 they only stick their nose in the calls they get and that they have to investigate if there are cases open and they have a feeling need to be closed I’m sure sometimes there are sneaky manipulation in a person that makes them overlook a person’s downfall. They get training BUT they are human. You have to be highly skilled in the CPS division and should always make sure you dig deep in all cases.

I've not seen enough of this trial to be able to even make an educated guess to whether that is the case or not here.
