Nice quality. I was out there on the 13th but went to Grayland. Totally different experience as I got my 20 clam limit but I also had present 5000 of my best friends😂 (I suspect it took me a lot longer than it did for you). The relative lack of people where you were is so nice. Thanks for posting.
My pleasure! This was taken on a weekday near the public beach access in Ocean Park, so normally it is just the locals digging or people on a walk. The tides were great this day so it normally takes us 30-45 mins to get 20 clams. I typically skip the small holes at this point. May 13th was bad and I got my limit in 1.5 hrs. May 14 was worse due to the tides. I believe it took me 2 hrs to find 10 good size clam holes. So I definitely recommend coming down here when the tides are -1 ft to -2.5ft if you don’t want a challenge.
