I feel like this is the first time ever that someone managed to portray at least part of their complexity and beauty. I *love* that you used different versions of them, since no movie or series ever fully managed to capture their dynamic and show the depth of their bond, but bringing them together created a beautiful, more fleshed out picture of what they meant to each other. (and thank you for not including the travesty that was reign and their version of elizabeth) you really created something beautiful here. thank you for giving their unique love story some much needed attention. let's hope the new series will do elizabeth justice
Astonishing couple!💖I wish they could have ended up together eventhough that they couldn't.He would have treated Elizabeth better than Henry treated Anne. They got so much in common;two souls that were meant for each other❤❤❤
Robert Dudley was ambitious for the throne hence why Elizabeth offered him to Mary Queen of Scots to marry. Naturally, Mary Queen of Scots refused because Robert Dudley was protestant and in love with her cousin. Elizabeth knew her cousin liked handsome men.
poor elizabeth, she was being pressured to marry but she was afriad that she will be like her mother anne Boleyn who lost her head for not giving her father a heir,It was noted that during elizabeth's moments of paranoia and fear,Robert was the only one to calm her,he loved her so much and he wrote to elizabeth about his undying love just weeks before he died and at elizabeth's deathbed she had his letter near her.
OMG THIS IS PURE PERFECTION!! Would you like to join my new collab about dead multifemales/queens? Elizabeth would be perfect and it would be an honor to have your talent in my project 😍😍
Music overpower the story. Consider downplaying it. Elizabeth & Dudley are the powerful lovers, especially when Dudley was played by Joseph Fiennes ( ? spelling) and Cate Blanchett. Loved the movie scene when she danced La Volta with him
But that movie insulted Robert's reputation and distorted their relationship at the end. And the second movie ignored Robert completely when he played a very important role in the plans for defending England from the Armada. And he was at Elizabeth's side through it all. His death shortly after the English victory was all the more tragic and Elizabeth's reaction would have been a very dramatic conclusion to the story.
it's a shame the movie distorted things about them, most especially towards the end with how they made it seem like robert fully betrayed elizabeth because the chemistry between cate and joseph as actors imo is still so unmatched amongst most of what i've seen from adaptations that showcased elizabeth and robert's relationship, like you could actually feel the emotional intensity. (helen mirren and jeremy irons definitely come VERY close too and the elizabeth i hbo mini series they were in was actually one that depicted the bess and robin dynamic on a more consistent manner)
@@marysstella_ There is not a single proof of that, solid or not. All speculations. "He must have." "He could have." "He should have." "He might have." Only based on their later open courting...
@@SG-pu3rx Also based on his letters to her....Nobody read them except herself so why should he lie? Moreover before her accesssion he stood by her side when she was in danger (during the Protestant rebellions held in her name).

Who is the actress playing the Queen in 1:15 ?
Anne-Marie Duff
Thanks @@AB-om2te
I think irl Dudley used Elizabeth. Theirs was a toxic relationship more than a sweet and romantic love story...
I feel different... A beautiful story for me.
@@جين-ف5ح Indeed😍😍🌹
He never 'used' her: When he fell in love with her, she was not even Queen yet.
