You can’t buy skill but you can buy performance! The Practical Performance guide rod for Walther is the truth! Find them here: modern-samurai-project.myshop...
Great to train with both you and AJ over the past few days. I look forward to taking what I learned and building on it. Hope to see you both again down the road!
I have ordered one sad it is now not tungsten And it is little intresting that walther is aiming on an 4 Times heavier recoil spring to track target faster in there tungsten Rod. And it is only for the US market. Text from Walther: The Tungsten weighted guide rod recoil spring assembly is more than 4 times heavier than the factory polymer RSA coming in at 2.2oz . This will lead to quicker target re-alignment and more accurate follow-up shots! This 50 Newton RSA is a direct replacement for all PDP, PDP F-Series 4″ and PPQ models. *Will not work with PDP F-Series 3.5″, PPQ 45 or PPQ SC Available exclusively to the North American. I have that and have put approx 30 000 rounds on it and it will interesting to compare. I’m an ipsc shoter and try to reduce recoil as much as possible. Going from 115 gr to 124 gr right now and will investigate 145 gr. Load by my self just to reach the power factor 130.
Awesome content as always! I loved your training & hoping to get back soon. I have a new gun the Walther PDP SD Pro with a compensator. What spring weight would you recommend? Thanks!
I am running a 15lb spring in my captured guide rod from zrtactical and I run a captured system from DPMS in my 4" compact which I also think is 15 lbs.
@@chrischristenson3519 Honestly they both appear to work well, and they are both far superior to a polymer, but if you are willing to spring for the DPM Systems which is around 120, in the compact it works really well.
ZR Tactical for the win. I have their captured, fluted, stainless steel guide rod. Their non-captive guide rods use gen3 glock springs so you can tune for like a comp or suppressor. I got a 15lb spring for my PPQ M1 and I can tell its not snapping back into battery and dipping the nose nearly as much. Id get more but I have zero interest in a walther ever again given how it feels/shoots lol
@@boomee78im actually curious. Can you explain why it's better? I have the ZR tac stainless steel with 15# spring. This sounds the same to me. What are the noticeable differences?
TheZR system will also work with a compact without sticking out the front. It’s a piece of machined steel with an aftermarket spring included. I would guarantee anyone reading this neither is “trash” what’s trash is what Walther shops their gun with. Good luck
That was my thought too. I took a class with him this last January. Watched the whole video trying to figure if my memory was off or did Scott lose a bunch of weight
I love the stainless steel captured guide rod from ZR Tactical solutions. Completely changed the gun making it an even better gun

Ordered. Cant wait to try this!
I love the Vandals shirt and the content! Great stuff
Not gonna lie I started watching because of the Vandals shirt! Tonight we’re taking my fast car we’re gonna go down to the cowboy bar!
Thanks! Got a buddy who might really benefit from this.
Ordered mine, thanks guys.

Just ordered the PDP Pro SD Full-Sized Frame with 4.5” slide, 5.1” Threaded Barrel. Can you confirm it fits this model? Thanks
What about Sprinco guide rod? Just asking if it’s better.

Yea I have a ZR in my 4”
@burgio57 no it dosent this isnt a zr
ZR tactical also makes one for every version of pdp, if this one doesn’t work for compact
I ordered and paid it 8-9 days ago and it seems not been sent yet. Any reason ?
They were sent out on Monday.
The website link is not working? I can find this guide rod anymore
Just tested it. It’s working.
Well shit.. I literally just got the ZR tactical stainless steel guide rod with 15lb spring, today.
All good man. They make great products.
Ditto, Me too!
Right?
Are you referring to Pk380 or a new pistol coming out in 2024 when you said "a gun coming out soon"?
Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe 2024. Maybe sooner.
@ModernSamuraiProject hmmm maybe the PDP Steel Frame? Especially if you say it works in the 4.5" or 5"...
@@JKL91what if they make the steelframe a full size 4 inch thats also a option on thr pdp
Will this fit in the Q4 SF?
Yes
Will the guide rod work in a PDP Compact Pro 4.6”?
@@JayWardrip 4.5? Yes
Will this work in the PDP SF match? Can anyone recommend a good holster for it?
Yes. Owb or AIWB?
@@ModernSamuraiProject owb. I just picked up the SF Match 5in. I Shoot USPSA carry optics.
@@montireneemontilliano665 I believe red hill tactical has one.
ETA on the compact version ?
Designs are in. Just waiting for the machine shop to quote and make them.

DPM Systems for the Walther Guide Rod/Spring, not DPMS, for those interested.
Which one u like more?
Yes, which one do you like better?

Why would come on here to say that i have both the zr tactical and this one . This one is better, the zr tactical is good but this is better
@@boomee78 alright bro whatever you say 👌
ZR Tactical is trash
I owned the guide rod it's a POS

Oversprung for your ammo, but if one sells on the US Market it should be adequate for your ammo.
Hitler bad, Vandals good.
