I’d be interested in knowing your opinion on the 27 vs the 31, you’ve picked the 31 so I know you like it more, but at your shorter draw length I would’ve thought you could’ve been pretty comfortable with the 27. What’s your thought process? Thanks, I’m a 28.5” DL and trying to make up my mind on which way to go

When you draw the bow back . It looks like towards the end . It comes over hard instead of smooth draw . Is that normal for a Mathews bow?

Oh ok good, alright that makes sense. I didn’t really think of it. I thought it look like a a hard draw length. Alright good to know, thank you sir. I’ll have to try one out.

Makes me nervous. An old adage was never shoot a bow shorter than your draw length. Love it, but makes me nervous. I just want consistency. I keep thinking 30" is the sweetspot like the Revolt. Like to see them take the 31" to 30".

The way the cam rolls the string angle is not as sharp as a short draw length.

Are you pulling 70 pounds? That seems really slow.

People don't realize Mathews void their warranty, if they install strings other then Zebra strings. Zebra's custom strings are very good strings. Yes Mathews has two different Zebra custom strings. Other then the stalk strings that comes on the bows. Everyone complains about Zebra strings. I don't have trouble, with the stalk, or custom strings. I don't care what brand you buy,or if they claim custom name . All strings stretch. All strings has to be shot in. They all have a stretch period. Use a lighter loop and your strings will be perfect.

Hey Guys I have a question.
I'm a traditional bowyer shooting 50 lbs recurve and 60 lbs long bow. I would like to get a compound bow. After searching and reading I chose Hoyt Nitrux 60-70 lbs is it a good choice for a budget that will serve a lifetime?

I'm a traditional archer but last week I shot my friends Hoyt Carbon RedWRX RX-4 Turbo and it was great but I don't have the money... To answer your question: Yes I went to local shop in Warsaw and I shot Nitrux, Torrex XT and Mathews (forgot the model) I like that Nitrux has aluminum limb pockets and general looks durable for medium price. I looked at Torrex XT and the Mathews but I do not like the composite limb pockets on these models. Compound is totally new for me but it felt very comfortable to shoot all of them. I like archery very much and I shoot 5 days a week but when I shoot friends compound it was like first time riding a bike as a kid pure FUN!
