Haven't seen all of it yet, but honestly I'm not even a Zelda fan and my biggest problem was that his kit overcentralized on primarily representing Tears of the Kingdom. TOTK hype has died down a lot and I frankly think that most people would rate it as "meh" for a Zelda game. TOTK is a $70 expansion pack that didn't even fix the fairly large issues people had with BOTW. All link got for Ultimate that is a BOTW reference was just time bombs and all else was largely superfluous. Also its worth pointing out that I think the original N64 characters are pretty set in stone. There is no way Sakurai is gonna make some new wholly original moveset for Mario where he has a comeback mechanic turning into an elephant. One problem I have with smash is that once a character releases, their kit is usually set in stone. There exist VERY few total reworks in Smash as a series, only one I can think of is Dedede and its not like Dedede changed some insane degree outside his chain-grab.
It makes sense why it'd be based on the latest mainline game and I don't have problems with that alone. (As long as the game isn't bad) It's rather how pulls from it is where the issues stem for me.
The things I liked suggested in his moveset vid so far:
Glad i finally got this off my chest.
AND THERES STILL MORE.....
Feels good :D
I think MockRock's moveset is half-and-half pretty alright. Half of the moves sound great while half feel haphazardly put together.
Yee.
There's some good ideas in there, but it's just messy.
A Crossover Game
So far so good!
Can't wait for the rest!
Aww, we didn't get to Nair yet :(
Dammmn
What was the game in the background?
Thats Blindsight.
