    I really enjoyed your videos , I'm currently in the Philippines and have purchased a cat eye version of the Carry ( their basically all the same except for the head lights) I will be going thru and replacing everything to get it like new condition, its old so I will be following your instructional videos closely, please post everything that you do on your carry so I can replicate on mine, thanks for your videos !

      You're going to put a EFI DOHC turbocharged F6A in too?? Let's go! Finishing up enough to post the next video on that in a week or two. About to get it off the engine stand.

    It’s still amazing to me how much the position of the engine changes as opposed to the 4wd model.
    Most of my engine is right under the seats.
    So If I was in 2wd and went up against you, your truck would probably win due to the almost mid engine CG.

      I believe this was my first time putting this truck on my lift and it was really awkward. People were telling me that the truck is front heavy and thus front tippy on a 2 post lift so I should either strap the rear to the arms or put weight in the back. It kinda made sense because the bed weighs nothing vs the cab being up front but the cab isn't that big either. I tried giving it a few test wobbles but the engine and tranny are between the lift arms and I couldn't quite figure out why people said it was tippy. Out of caution I still do either straps to the arms, stuff in the bed, or a jack stand under the cab.

    Ok, now you really have to do a video on how to change your timing belt on the Suzuki Carry. Dude you have a lift and great lighting, and the timing belt cover is right there! You could be the dude to record the definitive video on this topic in English. but if you are looking for lower hanging fruit... how about a video on how to remove the side mirrors and door card? Prying things off make me nervous and I'd like you to show me that I won't screw up my ride befoer I attempt these things. How and where is the best place to install an auxiliary fuse/terminal block to wire more gadgets like f-off lights, winch.

    Nice video, I've got the DB71T carry. Just bought it. These types of videos are what I'm looking for. I've never done mechanics but plan to teach/learn myself.. Via youtube lol.

    • @AnythingWheeled
      @AnythingWheeled  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not too hard, especially with these vehicles being so basic they are pretty simple :)

      @@AnythingWheeled Just FYI. I done my oil change went very smooth for me. Which is a surprise. What other basic maintenance should i intend on doing? I thought about a radiator flush, thoughts?

    • @AnythingWheeled
      @AnythingWheeled  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@mikeworkman1252 I honestly haven't gotten to do much to my truck mechanically yet it's mostly been cosmetic. I only resorted to stabbing the filter as I was dumb and didn't see my filter tool right in front of me on my magnetic wall. With the proper tools I wouldn't have had to do that lol.
      I do want to change my transmission and differential fluid soon just to get it done. Nothing is leaking, which is very good but I feel like the tranny could use some new fluid. It might help with my gear engagement but who knows til I do it. It could just be how it is.
      Radiator/coolant change would be good if it's old. I could hit that up as well.
      If you are unsure of your timing belt status it should probably be redone while your poking around in there. Don't want that to break or slip to bend a valve and break stuff.
      There will be videos and info for all of these maintenance items.

    good day,may i ask what type of brand of oil filter do you use?and do you have any conversion to bosch?

    • @AnythingWheeled
      @AnythingWheeled  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Interesting. I forget where I got my filter from. It has Japanese on it. But I would assume that it has the same thread as my DOHC F6A in my Suzuki Cara and will be using the Mahle OC215 filter for the next changes. Mahle is the OEM manufacturer for Suzuki filters. I don't know the Bosch equivalent.

    thanks thanks!

    • @AnythingWheeled
      @AnythingWheeled  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry I do not have a list of common interchangeable parts since I have not gone that deep into it. I believe the only thing I know is that the headgasket for the SOHC F6A is interchangeable with the DOHC F6A motor. There may be other things as the bottom end of the motor is probably the same.

    What filter fits?

    • @AnythingWheeled
      @AnythingWheeled  ปีที่แล้ว

      I forget where and what the filter I got for this was. But the Wix 51360 (3/4 x 16 thread) should work. There are many filters that will fit just make sure you have the right thread. I've seen reports of someone saying their truck takes a M20 thread instead of the 3/4 thread filters.
