I just put mine in (started installing on the 15 and finished on the 17th at almost 4am lol) Mine are a teeny bit past collar bone length and my goal is to keep them in for two full months, rebraiding the front when they’re starting to look crazy, wash my scalp and deep condition the ends every two weeks, and oil my scalp maybe 2x a week! I’m really going to try hard to keep them in (I start missing my hair after week 3 usually) and actually keep up with my moisturize and seal routine! Let’s goooo! Thanks for the inspiration!
I’m the same way. After the second week I want to take them out and do something else. But then I think about how long it would take to take them down and I change my mind
@@misses1768 hi! I’m currently rocking mini twists, my hair seems to retain length much better in mini twists than mini braids. The braids I posted about here I kept those in for 4 months and then took them down for two weeks and reinstalled mini braids for a month, and now they’re in mini twists that I’ve been wearing for a month now trying for 3 months (braided roots so they won’t loc up)
Thank you so much for this. I am combing out my locs of 12 years and my hair is so long (tailbone) - I am looking for low maintenance hairstyles to transition into this loose natural hair journey. And I REFUSE to install tailbone length mini twists/braids every 14 days!! BRUH 😂 Your hair is gorgeous and this helped me a lot!
I love your mini braids looking for my length to become longer like yours takes me two weeks to finish I have very thick hair only con is folks be like you should let it loc up they look like sis locs I’m like no I Dont want them permanently I take them out right before they loc the best of both worlds to me trust I wash and keep them five to six months, take a few month break do them again.
I have almost everything from the Pomegranate and Honey line and I really need to keep my stash STOCKED! I love their products and it’s the first brand I’ve ever bought where I bought from the whole collection and not just certain products! I don’t have the mousse, I use Sunny in Denbigh’s mousse because it’s alcohol free!
I love wearing mini braids/twists (my aunt did em during my pregnancy and I was in love). But I hate taking them down😪. Seeing you in with them is convincing me to just put em in😂.. So I think imma start on em today💜.
we need a video on how you take the mini braids out/down. I'd love to do them that small, it's so cute! but I'm worried about the take down process. and how long do you leave them in? Thanks!
I love this video as we have similar hair. I loveeee your hair❤❤ I never use oil on my hair as it does not give true moisture..My scalp provides it's own oil so like you I just use a very light leave in product ❤ We think alike in many ways..YES It is like growing a plant❤
Oil is not a moisturizer. Water is and the oil seals. I. The summer your head is constantly being heated and so your hair follicles are open, during the winter they are cold and closed
I think you mean you have high porosity hair 🤔 low porosity hair holds moisture much longer than high porosity hair as long as you working in the moisture
Your hair must be dense and 4c cause my braids would unravel and does not stay. I would so love this style: I will try it but I understand if I can’t achieve your look. Yours is definitely longer, but it is staying braided
the fact you didn’t have a single piece of frizz after washing your braids is insaneeee
It seems like she doesn’t have as many fly always, that’s most likely due to all of her individual hair strands being very close to the same length.

Aw someone washing their mini braids, love to see it.
Your patients is top tear girl😭 love your hair!

I absolutely LOVE this style on you!!😍
your hair is so pretty ❤

After 2 months I just take them down and redo them. Locking braids would take a long time😂

I recommend them 100%. Taking them down is my only complaint😂
I have mini braids in right now and if a single drop of water touched my roots it would be overrrrr 😭
why??
@@ModelingTabi matting at the rootss😭😭
@@Obianuju_O that means it’s time to take it out💀
@@lifewithkhenny2603 no,my hair does that at 2 weeks old. Soo??
@@lifewithkhenny2603 plus, you can scroll up to see when someone asked "why?" I only gave a response. 🙂
Same! The middle of my head is a different texture. It will also frizz up before any other part of my head
Same with me.

Noted!
Use the tip of rattail comb.
Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it. Looking forward to growing out my hair again, after my second big chop where I cut it shorter n between 😅

Girl how in the world do you do them plaits so tiny I'd die lol
I used to do them smaller than these😅
I used to think that too the first time my friend did them to me but I promise you the smallest are the best !!😂
@@tekla_ right they last the longest!
This is how my hair is right now! I love it small!!!
Gorgeous hair & calming vibes ❤❤
You know what! I will just loose the front detangle, and rebraid it. I have a relaxer and I'm just trying to get to tailbone length.
That's a good idea. taking them all down is real time consuming.
may Heavenly Father bless you 🙌🏾 give Him thanks always 💖💖 it’s by His grace you are still here. Seek him He loves you, beautiful 🫂💜
These are beautiful 😍

Correct!
Your braids are beautiful. I was wondering how many rows you did in the back and how many in the front
I started with 4 on the back row and did brick parts
Also did you braid underhand or overhand? Because I am more than 3/4 done with my mini braids, and I braided underhand, and my braids are limp😢
@@erikaofori-amanfo2771 overhand
How often do you wash your hair? Does washing make your hair freezy?
I wash every 2 weeks with my head flipped over. Washing my hair in the shower makes it frizzy quicker. But I honestly like the frizz
When you accept the frizz, being natural no longer feels like a chore
How many months have you ever stayed in the mini braids style on and i'd like to see a video on how you take them down please
I think you mean you have high porosity hair 🤔 low porosity hair holds moisture much longer than high porosity hair as long as you working in the moisture
Low porosity most def means ur hair can't hold moisture. I too have low porosity hair. A lot of beauticians have told me that.
I have my mini braids for one week but they look like if I had them for a year
Do you sleep with you hair tied down?
Yes ny hair is super freezy
Love your.videos.beautiful.long.hair.great wash thumbs up
Yay! Thank you!

Want to try this style but afraid to go too small 🤔
I started with 4 braids in the back
Goals ❤
Hay do you shead alot. N is beeswax okay to put in
I wouldn’t use beeswax when braiding. I like blue magic hair grease
How long do you leave em in for?
2 months
@@stasiamichelle99 okay thanks for the reply! I have mini braids on now and I wanna leave them for 5 months...two months to go lol😂😂
How often do you wash your mini braids?
Every 2 weeks or when my hair feels to oily
How often do you wash your hair?
Every 2 weeks
Do you rebraid before or after washing?
After washing
How long does it take you to install these??
It took me 2 days.
@@stasiamichelle99what did you do to minimize th3 frizz? I always have to redo them after 2 weeks which is also when I wash them.
Nice video.. New sub here. Stay connected
Making fake hair look real is insanely mean
If you watch her other videos where her hair is loose you can see it’s real
The fact that your hair hasn't moved (shrunk) from since you began washing it until the end nor curled is sus. I think it's fake hair
lol
