Can I ask why you don't use water during your take down process but instead use oil/ conditioner? Is it better to use than water or is it just your prefrence? Lots of love from South Africa!!!
Sure! So, water makes natural hair curl up. And depending on how long the hair was in the style, the products and dirt can build up which causes more tangles with the shed hair. Oil or conditioner creates a slip factor to remove them
Yup! I can only do my twists when it’s wet. But good braids/plaits, it’s easier if the hair is dry and stretched. Check out my last week in my hair video.

could it be nutrition or even something as simple as how your wrap your hair at night. when I used to tie my hair I had a knot from the scarf at the same place around my edges and it caused traction alopecia. it grew back once I changed how I wrapped it. do you often pick at the front of your hair? wear a headband, etc?
well, they say the average person's hair grows .5 in a month. that would be 6 inches in a year. the average head to waist is 2 feet. so I'd say 4 years but because of epigenetics, good nutrition, and healthy routine, you can get there faster. but that's the beauty of time and our growth. if we take our mind off it, it'll seem like it got there in no time cause regardless, time is going and our hair is growing. you got this!

It could last longer but I like to redo to manage matting Those are the main reasons
The Inglewood thing: population is growing, but available land is finite. The only way to reduce this absurd inflation is to do away with strict zoning and tax property vacancies.

Your hair is looking lovely.
I am redoing my plaits this week ❤
It’s so great to find someone with the same sense of humor!!!! 🥲 thanks for watching 💁🏾♀️❤️
Oil or conditioner creates a slip factor to remove them
Hi, What are all the Ingredients In your "Insane Hair Growth Oil " Please & - Do U - use this Oil as a - Detangler also????
Heyyyyyy I have a video on how I made the oil like 4 videos ago. I’ve used it as a detangler as well (in this video too)
Do u use hair mousse on your hair?

I wish I could.make my parts neat but it is hard when it's wet, do u have any tips
Yup! I can only do my twists when it’s wet. But good braids/plaits, it’s easier if the hair is dry and stretched. Check out my last week in my hair video.
girl when i put oil in my hair my hair is sooo dry and like cornows the make these bumbs inn my hair and i want to know why my guess is thst my hair is obviously sensitive
@laliza9913 I know what you meannnnnnn
Did you grow your hair out with braid extensions or without
Without
I think I'm shedding more front hair despite all my hair care routines, oils and protective styles someone help. The hair at my back and middle are doing great but the front is dying. I need a routine that actually works. Please help! 🙏
could it be nutrition or even something as simple as how your wrap your hair at night. when I used to tie my hair I had a knot from the scarf at the same place around my edges and it caused traction alopecia. it grew back once I changed how I wrapped it. do you often pick at the front of your hair? wear a headband, etc?
The distance from my head to my waist is so long.
lol how long will it take to get to waist length 😫😫😫😫😫
well, they say the average person's hair grows .5 in a month. that would be 6 inches in a year. the average head to waist is 2 feet. so I'd say 4 years but because of epigenetics, good nutrition, and healthy routine, you can get there faster. but that's the beauty of time and our growth. if we take our mind off it, it'll seem like it got there in no time cause regardless, time is going and our hair is growing. you got this!
Your going home have fun eat all the wonderful fruits.
home? I'm from the Bahamas lol but I'll def eat tons and tons of guineps!!!

How did you get your hair to that length
hey! check out my hair growth and retention video. I share how I got to this length and share lots of tips. I also show a typical week in my hair on my channel. feel free to check them out 🤗
Ain’t nobody got time for that!😂🤣🤣

Inspiring! I have my first set of plaits right now and my hair is waaaay shorter than yours. 😂 I’m trying to convince my mom to try plaits too.
Please do share your oil mixture recipe? (I’m mid video so maybe you share it at the end)😅
That would be so cute! I Hope she does it with you! 🤗🤗 my oil recipe/video is on my channel! Check it out 💁🏾♀️❤️
How many plaits did you have?
Thirty Flirty and thriving!! 37 plaits but I started off with 45
I have fine hair to and i don't have the confidence to do that style
@@CassidyPrins we both have thin hair so if I can do it, YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
What was the thought process behind choosing these plaits/braids. wouldn't cornrows be a better way to retain length, why did braids appeal to you
I apologize in advance for the long explanation lol
1. if I wear cornrows, ima look like Cleo from Set It off and then Shemar Moore from diary of a Mad Black Woman when they grow out. No thanks
2. One of the characteristics of having fine hair is that it tangles easily. When my hair is cornrowed, no amounts of detangling can stop the tangles while I braid it or unbraid it. Especially after they've been washed?!?! talk about matting!! sheesh lol
3. I can do more styles with plaits than cornrows back
4. I can shampoo, deep condition, and moisturize them better.
5. For me, plaits have less tension on my scalp
(Edit)
6. My plaits lasted longer than my cornrows. It was liking bad by week 2. But with the plaits I don’t have to redo for 4-5 weeks. It could last longer but I like to redo to manage matting
Those are the main reasons
My happy place ❤❤❤

The Inglewood thing: population is growing, but available land is finite. The only way to reduce this absurd inflation is to do away with strict zoning and tax property vacancies.

I would love to plait my entire hair but I can not part the back of my hair for the sake of my life 😭
Stand with your back to a bathroom mirror. Use a handheld or a standing mirror in front you to see the back (mirror)
If you have a tripod for your iPhone, you can put the camera on selfie mode and put it behind you so you can see the back of your head. I do this since I don’t have a mirror
