Congratulations on your length retention. Mini braids do increase length retention. It’s reminds me of wearing locs. locs are low manipulation re-twisting once every 3 to 4 months. Also Wearing the Locs n a bun to protect the ends of the hair. I am excited to see your length retention by December 2024
I 1st started with cornrows them moved to mini braids too i love the growth and volume of my hair😍 i did my braids abit bigger this time because wow i fobt want to be spending days taking it down and getting my scalp irritated otherwise this the best way to growing hair
I used minis to help with my middle, it was an inch now it's at 6 inches. I didn't moisturize well so there has been some breakage. It's now in twists and hopefully it will be better
@@pamelarobinson Honestly ,I'm not sure what there is. I do twists with attachments, but they inevitably break parts. I may try the braids and come back and share my experience. I have a lot of hair, but the strands are fine, so there is shrinkage. I guess nothing beats a good try.
I’m on my hair growth journey. I’m rocking two strand twists now.
@@beardedbeast9606 nice 👍👍👍

Do you cornrow your roots and then continue braiding? Or do you just braid each mini section?
