I love this lady. I was stationed in Korea for 3 years in the navy. Wonderful friends and experiences. What I missed most when I returned to the states was the food. The restaurants were rather pricey for what I like and then I found Maangchi on TH-cam. What a relief! I have learned soooo much from her. I make all of my korean dishes now. My Korean friends still keep in touch and call me and can't wait to visit and taste my food. Those are the real critics!
One kind of food that I can eat every meal everyday besides Chinese food is your Korean food. We drove 6 hours to Houston last week just to eat Korean food and brought a whole bunch leftovers. Love it love it! And love YOU! ❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍
That's actually how I've been making jabchae for years, ever since a Korean colleague I've met in NY told me about this technique of soaking the noodles first and cooking everything in one pan. The noodles don't stick as much when you pre-soak them. It's even easier if when you make a vegan version you don't need to cook the omelet or the meat beforehand 👍
Maangchi’s recipes always turn out perfect. I have tried recipes from other famous TH-cam channels & they are hit & miss. She really reminds of me of my Mom. Japchae looks so similar to pancit stanghon here in the Philippines. My mom and I used to cook together during fiestas and holidays. We use a very large "kawali" (frying pan) and dapog (hearth) to cook lots of food for visitors. Miss those times.
I love your channel! I’ve used your recipes so many times! We used to live in Taegu and I miss all the wonderful food. On Friday nights, we had a tradition of going out for chicken and Hite beer. I loved the radishes served along side the chicken 🐓 🍗 🐔 ,

👏Wonderful!
I have made this recipe so many time, always watching this video and her book. Thank for your guidance.
Maangchi can you make holiday specials series? Desserts, or even meals, that can be served for christmas parties or family gathering/reunions.
Yeeeessss!!! The EASY one!!! Just what I needed... Thank you. 🙏
I just made japchae for the first time and used your recipe. I absolutely love it and will be making it again and again! Especially when you said that you're using this method now rather than your traditional recipe, I was even more convinced to try it. Thanks so much!
Great job!
Oh my goodness, this looks so much easier than you original recipe and still looks just as good! Thank you so much for this video Maangchi!!!
진짜 맛있어요,내가 잘머고.
Verry delicious...nyammmy
Genius! This really is easier than traditional way. I can make japchae more often with this method 👍
My mouth is watering from how good it looks, and with ingredients easily found in Portugal. Thanks for your hard work, Maangchi.
I loved the radishes served along side the chicken 🐓 🍗 🐔 ,
Ummm
I made this today but with rice noodles, white and brown mushrooms instead of the ones you used and I also added broccoli and it turned out amazing! Thank you!!!! (Also no meat or egg)
The greatest chef is here!!! With love from India.. 😍😍😍😍
I love her style and the way she explained, I will try the recipe but without meat. Thank you maangchi, keep smiling, keep going.

Yay! : )
So easy and super tasty, as usual! I went the the Korean Grocery store in London and found all the ingredients. Great recipe, Maangchi! I would say the quantities in this recipe are enough for 3-4 servings.
I have come across your video some years ago. I like the warm homely feel u give while cooking. Its like watching a mom cook while her kids wait in anticipation. And yes, you are becoming more and more beautiful every year. Thank you for these delicious cooking videos!
Thank you for the recipe. I made it for my fiance's birthday celebration today and it was really delicious. I love watching your videos 😊 God bless you!

I've got to try this easy one, I still cook the classic way. This should be good especially for single person I can take the rest to work.
Been watching her forever it seems. She looks still the same.
Love her personality pure sunshine & sheer delightful happy soul.
God bless you Maangchi.
I love Japchae ❤️ Korean Food
언니 이 레서피 정말 특별하고 편하게 보여요
그래서 외국인 친구에게 소개해 줬어요 . 귀에 쏙쏙 박히는 스페셜 영어도 맘에 들어요 👍❤️❤️
Saw this video and an hour later we were eating the most delicious japchae.
Can't wait to try cooking this one pot meal in the woods on a hike, while collecting wild wood ear or mushrooms. Will soak the noodles and mix the sauce in advance.
Just made this and the whole family loved it! Thanks so much Maangchi you are heaven sent ❤
You are a true Korean beauty with a beautiful heart and great cooking skills. I love you because you are always yourself

I think Japchae is a great food! maangchi said, you can use pork, or you can use beef, or just vegetables. I think it's so good because I can make it as I like!😁 so I love Japchae soooo much!
