We are a family of 4 , our son who is 10 is autistic and will only eat a few foods. I manage to stay around $200 a week with just food including my son’s preferred foods. I also try to can as much as possible. Whatever I don’t grow in our garden u get from local farmers. I will finish my canning for the year tomorrow when my kids are at school with corn. Decobbing the corn is the hardest part but it’s so worth it. I may have to get another box of apples and can more apple sauce as my daughter has been eating it every day multiple times a day. Which I love as I know it’s just apples, a little bit of sugar, and some cinnamon.
I don't have a budget for my family of 4 but I always shop sales, in season fruit (cheaper), and store brands (or Aldi). I also try to meal prep each week and get so many ideas from you, so thank you!
Hi Miranda , always dropping the most delicious recipes, can we use other apples rather the granny smith ? hope the nappy changing and feeding is going well for you.
I try to spend less than 600/month for my family of four, but am usually not the best at sticking to that. Been cracking down this month and focusing on using up ingredients I have on hand to try to keep the cost lower!
We have 3 adults & each of us has a different medical needs diet. And we spend $200/week, occasionally we can go an extra week, depending on how much we have left.
Yes i've been posting for MONTHS about PP and mom meal prep :) she's also been in many many videos as I baby wear about 90% of the time when I'm in my kitchen
@@flourishingmiranda I used to be vegan too, I do eat meat now, but I'm still very highly plant based, ( it tends to be more budget friendly in the long run still). Congrats on your little one!
I was never vegan, just plant based! I admit I didn’t know the difference in the beginning and realized I used the wrong terms ❤️ I’m glad you have found a way that’s simple and easy for you!!!

For our family of 4 it is about 250 a week and that is kind of hard for us. The joys of living in California
I don’t have a budget and I feed 1 sometimes 2 people. I have been prepping my meals on Monday for the whole week. Love those kind of videos.
Another great video giving us some great ideas on how to save money AND create healthy meals! Thank you!🥰
Household of one here in Australia - my budget is about $55 AUD. Produce in Australia is way more expensive here too
