- The first time ever we left Luzon and flew to the southern area of the Philippines to explore the Visayas region as well and of course we took my Hungarian sister / bff with us! As our first stop in the region, we were headed to Cebu City to explore the city, see beautiful tourist spot, try new food and fruits and more!

That's right we noticed locals referring to public transportation by numbers! That makes it so much easier, really!

the language in Cebu is officially called Cebuano, known locally or informally as Bisaya.
btw, there are 3 SM malls in Cebu, SM City Cebu, SM Seaside City and SM Consolacion, and soon to open (4th) SM City Mandaue (formerly J Mall)

Hi! From Cebu you can take a ferry to Dumaguete and Siquijor. I hope you visit these place, too. Very easy to hop into these two other beautiful places. Enjoy!
