- Even though we were sad to Bohol we had an extra unexpected day in beautiful Cebu City which quickly became our favorite city in the Philippines!
Besides visiting some beautiful landmarks in the area (such us the Cebu Taoist Temple and the highly requested Temple of Leah) by sister / bff tried one of her most surprising Filipino flavor combination!

You know, during rainy season, this is time when citrus fruits bear fruits like calamansi and dalandan in which it is rich in vitamin C to fight colds illness. Nature really knows how to take care of filipinos. 🙂Great time with you as well Jonathan.
I just realized after we left Cebu that it's famous for making guitars it explains all the guitar shops and decorations we've been seeing!!

I suggest you do a food crawl there in Cebu city, Bisaya dishes are good and quite different in Tagalog especially their vegetable dishes. Enjoy explorung Cebu City😊
Thank you! The first time we arrived to Cebu before going to Bohol I was so surprised by the variety of dishes! Really so different from what I was used to in Luzon!

Nice you guys got a chance to see the temple of "LIAH" and the Chinese temple. Leaving Bohol is depressing at times, know that feeling. Good thing I have a week left but will be back every 3 months there after to check on our house here. The weather is awesome this week compare to Manila (always rains) now. But Bohol is sunny, and the beach life is full of happy people enjoying the outdoors. So glad they can enjoy it as well as you did. Puhon daphud! (next time again in Bisaya) .

I remember that temple in cebu. The time i was there is 24 years ago. I am 9 yrs old only at that time.
Been to Temple of Leah way back in 2018 and i can say that i was a little bit luckier because there's not that much people that time. It is truly a beautiful place and the purpose of the building makes it even more amazing. And the view is very spectacular😯.❤

Ooohh, your last day in the Visayas… Great to see you get to explore Cebu City more though. DId you mention to Fanni why there was this humongous guitar at the mall lobby (and not any other object)? (*Cebu is known for its guitar-making industry wich no other region or province can lay claim to ü) Yes, Robinson's salad cup at the grocery fruit section FTW! =) Cheers.

Why you Guys take a Fiery Boat from Cebu to Manila? It is more expensive than Air Tickets. Take the very early Flight Schedule or Evening Flight Schedule because these are more cheaper.

there are dalandan that are almost sweet. otherwise i prefer them for juicing rather than eating
no need to mask up when you're outdoors, particularly when it's just the three of you there! just inside where there's lots of people.

Metro Cebu is not beautiful, but the small town like Carcar.
I have heard a lot of men building memorials for their queens but I still have to hear women building grand memorials for their deceased husbands.
