Hey Joe ... Wire repair the right way ... My Wife has a PT Cruiser and when the windows quit working I found the same scenario they mounted the motor to the bottom of the window and the wire is a tether that flexes each time the window moves ... Breaking the wire just like your speaker wire ... Repaired just like that 👍
