Hey ross, thank you for the amazing content. Watched all your videos so far and no one explains its better than you especially when i have adhd. I wanted to buy your course but I cannot afford it at this time. I will be saving up each month till I reach that 900 mark. I was wondering if there would be a course sale for black friday or anything like that in future

I have tried to get many clients on to RCP style contracts. But a lot of the time they have been worried about it because of COVID and lockdowns. They would rather not take the risk even if there is a discount.
Multiple have said that before COVID they would have but now they would rather go one project at a time.

Hey! Interesting. I certainly know I've had a few conversations like this. Maybe Revisit in the new year too! 😊

Ross, thank you for the clear, concise advice. Makes scenes to build both verticals at the same time.

Hey Ross! Been watching your videos for a couple months now and I can’t say enough how much they’ve been helping me out! I’m still pretty early in the more “professional” stages I’d say, and my biggest hurdle has been honestly on being able to close some clients, so if you had any advice on how to possibly improve that skill besides practical over and over again, I’d appreciate a comment or video of some kind! Also, if you ever get around to another “Reacting to your reels” video or some sort of website critique, I’d love to throw my links so I can get any short feedback you have. Appreciate you man, and keep up the amazing work 🙌

Hey Chase! Thanks so much for the comment dude, I'm really glad that the content is helping you out!
Sure! Great suggestions too. Sales is tough because what works on one person might not work on the other. A quick tip could be to go back to the people who have said no, and ask for their feedback. Maybe it was their current situation that was a problem or maybe they wanted to see more "industry specific" work, its awlays worth asking though as you have nothing more to lose!
I will try to do a video on closing video production clients to help on this though mate, so stay tuned!
Good luck in the mean time!

@@RossWelch I've thought about doing that actually! Just wasn't sure how to approach it while phrasing it correctly, specifically to a few that choose the ghosting route. But I'll try it, thanks for the response man!

Superb content Ross! What advice do you give when clients ask for a proposal? For example, you had a chat with them, trying to sell a video idea, and they said “okay - can you send me a proposal?” Happens to be quite a bit lately. Thanks!

    • @RossWelch
      @RossWelch  3 ปีที่แล้ว

Thanks dude!! I'm glad you enjoyed it 🔥
Awesome to hear that clients want to work with you too.
My main advice would be to keep it short and to the point. Use lots of photos to set the scene for your idea and make it look exciting!
The proposal should always be 16:9 (landscape and not A4).
      Finally just outline:
      What you propose (concept)
Why it will work for their audience
Storyboard outline/ pictures to make your idea more visual
And then costs and very importantly, why you are the guys for the job!
      😁
I hope that helps dude! These things become easier with practice too!
