  • 📢 Creative entrepreneurs, filmmakers, and video production companies, you need to follow this video if you want to grow your business and get more video clients!
    Why? Because most of you are super awesome at creating quality video content but fail to understand how the mind of your client works.
    For those filmmakers and creative entrepreneurs who are just here for the free training here you go ➡️ : training.perspectiveacademy.co...
    Don't worry, when I started out as a filmmaker, way before I started my video production company, I didn't understand the importance of this either. As a result, I often wondered why I couldn't grow my business and felt like I never knew if it was going to work...
    I had lots of meetings with other video production companies looking for work as well as having lots of meetings trying to get new clients for my own business too, but I consistently had people tell me "Your video content looks great, but we are going to go with another video production company or filmmaker this time....But we will stay in touch".
    It was heartbreaking but now, a few years on, with plenty of experience in filmmaking and owning a six-figure video production company, I now realise that in the meetings, I was only focused on talking about me! How my video production company was the best, how I was the best filmmaker, how I was better than other people and not enough time asking the proper questions... providing a solution to the client's problems.
    The second I figured this out I noticed a massive growth in my video production company, Perspective Studios, and has taught this same strategy to hundreds of students in my academy, I see them achieve the same results.
    And the best thing is that this applies to Creative entrepreneurs, filmmakers who are just starting out, and established video production companies who are looking to grow!
    If you're serious about your video production company: training.perspectiveacademy.co...

    Hello Ross, with your teachings I have landed my first contract which am very happy. Thanks much dude😊🙏. Ross I really need your advice, A guy has establish his Production company and has the means more than I do since am new...he likes my effort and skill so he suggested we partner for work with agreement signed. Ross am confused weather to accept or not to, because I feel I might not be able to focus on my vision since it's his comfort office we going to use for work😏

    Dude. This has been such a struggle for me. I get $30,000 projects, but they’re so scattered. I started my business to help small businesses and local nonprofits, but my community doesn’t seep to value video production. All my clients lately have been documentary long form videos or speaking engagements. I ran some ads, and that’s okay. I’m trying to figure out how to engage that lower market bracket(silly, I know, but I genuinely believe I can help these businesses) and show them why they need to be concerned about their online presence. We’re a resort town and get a TON of tourists year round, but we’re still a smallish town. It’s been so hard, I stopped updating my channel and website.
    As of now, almost all of my clients have been out of state and either fly me in for fly to me.

    You can either watch over on the link at 1pm or 7pm each day. But when you are at full time work and have a house to run in the evenings it’s almost impossible to watch. Is there no other way of watching the content for people who don’t have free time in these hours?

    Amazing content, thanks!
    During the conversation with the prodpect, you say that we should be the bridge between where they are and where they want to be. How could you actually prove your video(s) has actually delivered the result?
    I am a bit confused because if I do a video to put on their website (or social media), I can't be 100% sure it will bring them X amount of customers. Maybe you have a tip?
    Thank you!!

    • @RossWelch
      @RossWelch  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey dude! You aren't promising them results but the suggestion is that with a video, their customers will be more engaged, get a better understanding of the product and therefore increase sales.
      In my experience not many people ask you to dive into detail but accept that video is a great way to showcase their brand!

    • @RossWelch
      @RossWelch  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a really good question thanks for asking. There could be several reasons that a potential client could go 👻
      My suggestion would be to check back in with your point of contact to see how everything is going with their company. Try to build a relationship with your potential client. If you still haven't been able to offer your services then maybe give them some time to think it all over and try again in a few months.
      This is something that we have faced at our production company, and ironically we have doubled back to check in and found that they are in a good place within their business for video marketing.
      Hope this helps mate 😊
