Thank you for this video because I watched it last night I knew how everything worked and where it was my husband was shocked because I knew more than him😂😂😂
I am in the market for one of these. You did a VERY EXCELLENT overview of this unit. You showed/explained all the important functions as well as the dash itself. GREAT JOB. How is the power? I am just wanting one for around the apple orchard and I think this would fit the bill nicely.
The problem with the 520 is that there are no dealers including JAF has any in stock. Honda is trying to sell the 700 as the profit margin is higher. Anybody ever seen a 2023 520 unless you pump them for Honda just like this video does.
@@nando6294 I modded my yamaha raptor 770cc it has a plus 3mm intake valves and plus 2mm exhaust valves 105.5mm cylinder and piston plus 5mm stroker crankshaft efi controller with a few other things. At 70 mph I can pull it up in 4th gear then shift into 5th and it's just stupid. The utvs with a rear jack shaft would be way easier to drop a big 1000cc snowmobile engine into like a arctic cat wildcat sport frame, that combo would be 170 hp plus and be around 1000 pounds. Or call up northern crankshaft in thief river falls mn and they can build a custom crankshaft to put two motors together. Be interesting to install a 2,000cc 2-stroke putting down 360hp plus at the rear tires naturally aspirated. Running on 87 octane crap fuel ⛽.
My daughter's Yamaha blaster does 72mph stock was around 55mph or so, full port n polish and 34mm intake along with a 34mm mikuni carb high compression piston and geared it up.... it destroys my brother's Polaris scrambler 400 2-stroke 4x4 in a drag race for two high line pole lengths.
I’m thinking about getting one just to ride around for fun and for some utility stuff. Do u think that I should get this one? Also how fast does it go?
I wonder why they wouldn't use rubicon suspension and transmission for a bit more comfort and speed. Would make it a better trail machine. And how easy it would be to add a glove box or something?
@@nando6294 I have a baby on the way due in a couple weeks. Wish you said that last year lol. Now I’ll have to wait. I’m from Pa so a long haul regardless… seems damn near impossible to get anything Honda around here
Does the 520 have zip factor the same as the 500? Meaning did the 520 give you the same thrills when you really got onto to when you punched it and gave it gas
A few questions: What is Top Speed? Does it have a Turf Mode? And Is there enough Engine Heat Shielding in to keep the seats and cab from getting hot like many other UTVs?
No shade on the channel or honda but this thing has a lot longer way to go to come close to my old style midsize ranger 500. Factor in the new midsize ranger 570 and its kind of not really a contest...
it is weatherproof. I blast it with the pressure washer from a distance to clean it and it gets submerged in water frequently when crossing deep mud holes and they hold up fine.
Chris, I was on the list for about 6 weeks before my dealer was able to get one. It has arrived and is getting accessories installed next week! FWIW, I did a ton of research and couldn't find many reasons not to go with this unit.
I know down south a lot of people like to put larger wheels and tires on it depends how big you wanna go. I think you can go up a few sizes without worrying about tire rub if that is your concern. But I would keep in mind no power steering so a huge tire with a big lug might become more work to control.
That's a completely different type vehicle. Apples and oranges. It would be like telling someone with a toyota corolla that you would rather have a ford f150

It has a nice output will move right along and pull / push what you need. I wasn’t underwhelmed.
Great video I was looking for a video like this a few days ago now here it is

Walked into my local dealer 3 days ago and they had one on the floor.
My local dealer has 3 2024's sitting
Nice machine just wondering if can you get the windshield for this front and back
Yes you can
I've always wondered how you can wash easily a side by side? Like on my motorcycle, can i just spray water everywhere even the dash?
Thank you for sharing
🏆🤗🇺🇸🙏
Can’t wait to get mine
Wish they had a small front rack/basket option.
Good presentation thanks 👍😎
I like it, wish the small frame had 1,000cc motor though. Then I'd buy it
Or perhaps you wouldn’t buy it you’re just yapping

Glove box is an easy add on
High quality video, well done.
After how many miles do y’all change the oil on these and what oil do most recommend
Good luck ever finding one
Come to ridenow powersports in McDonough Georgia we have one in our showroom. Ask for Fernando

I want one but can't find one for sale in Idaho.
Are there many accessories available for this model like windshield, cab enclosures doors snow plows ect....??
Yes! Huge list of options available on Hondas website under accessories
A few questions: What is Top Speed? Does it have a Turf Mode? And Is there enough Engine Heat Shielding in to keep the seats and cab from getting hot like many other UTVs?
No turf mode.
You should never know top speed on any UTV lol not meant for that
I ride mine in Florida with no heat probs

How would you describe the noise level this machine makes compared to most utvs? Same... or more quiet?
More quiet because the engine revs are kept lower from the transmission shifts
@BrickNick good to know, thanks
5:41 ECU having no weather proofing could be an oversight for Honda.

@@KThach.eventually that mud and water will cause problems
I haven't kept up, are you able to walk into a dealer and buy one of these yet? Or still a long wait list?
Depends some dealers have some models in stock others you have to wait on

Can you get LED headlights on any models?
I replaced the bulbs for about $50. Make sure you index them correctly so your low and high beams reflect properly.
@@jonathankenton7182there are no high/low beams on a p520😮

Nope
Diff locker in front?
No cab storage WTH Honda !!!!
So what put a box in your cargo box duh
