Warcraft 3 Reforged supposedly will alter the original Warcraft 3 campaigns, so let's blast through Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne on Hard difficulty before Reforged is released! These videos will contain all cinematics and dialogue along with explanations of the strategies I'm using as a semi-walkthrough.
I am nowhere near as experienced with these maps as the StarCraft 2 campaigns, so it won't be quite as polished of a playthrough, but we will succeed through Hard difficulty nonetheless! - เกม

@@jakas2524 Of course they still used the portal and were probably attacked by Garithos, we can just assume that he only had human (and dwarven?) troops, there were fewer blood elves and the defense of the portal was not that long and bloody.

Wow, I didn't think to flame strike them behind the gates when I first played this mission! Softening them up makes a huge difference!

Technically yes. The Humans under Garithos have no rights to the items in the vaults but Kael does as he was formerly in the Kirin Tor.
Vashj in 1st chapter: "We are on our own, prince."
Vashj in this chapter: "We serve lord Illidan."
Not sure if it's intentional or plothole overlooked by devs.
Maybe because Illidan already go to Outland and now Vashj was the one who gonna loead there

@Lalrivunga Hnamte coincidentally,high elves and nagas were highbornes. Maybe that's why vashj helped them.
@Lalrivunga Hnamte hence why i think that back in the ending of mission 2, Vashj lets Garithos' knights to see the Naga leaving ON PURPOSE.
malfurion and tyrande should have stayed in Lorderon and helped humans reclaim Lordearon...But then again Garithos would reject help from them and rather fight a war with the Night elves than Scourge...
I usually kept the Ice Shard into the next level (same with the Rock Token from the previous mission). Having a Rock Golem and an Ice Revenant makes it a lot easier to just outright destroy Maiev's base. The Scroll of Animate Dead helps too.

Sheesh man when I watch other people play this game, it looks so easy, and they have all the time in the world to make decisions.
When I play this game, I feel like I have to focus-up 100% of every second or I just start falling so far behind.
In this moment player understand, what Garithos not only racist, but also a dumb. There goes war against scourge, but he waste valuable resources to stop running elfes.
I have a sneaking suspicion that this level isn't canon.

The amount of damage you can do with flamestrike and forked lighting is ridiculous. With good timing, you can kill the majority of waves early on, and deal heavy damage late game
I know me selling so much will not be popular with some people, but damn we were close to 100%. The Revenants aren’t hit by mines because they’re floating :(

well..... if you didn't sell those claws of attack I am sure it would be 100% :P
I think the selling is a great strategy for this mission (I'd've kept specifically the skull shield, but whatever). I'm not so sure about the mines. Yeah, they killed a lot of stuff, but you could've built quite a few more towers with the money you spent on them. In the end, however, it was a very solid victory, so it's hard to really criticize.
Absolutely correct, especially because the only units that got through (besides the one in the last wave) were Revenants, which mines do not affect. I had a bunch of money for more towers at the very end also, but at that point the 100% was already lost, so I just got lazy I suppose!

Why did he sell the wyrm skull?! That item is powerful on its own since 33% magic resistance will significantly increase a hero's survivability.

I did that with Sylvanas.
Blew up all three Altars.
I saved Sylvanas' mines to use on Detheroc during the sneak attack :)
Of course you don't NEED them, but it saves a bunch of time and hassle.
also its funny how humans in garithos army would still follow his order for this suicide mission...They should find the way to remove him from power and place admiral Proudmoore or Varian Wrynn as commander in chief of human resistance forces or sumthin... But then again because Varian Wrynn is different nationality he does not have legitimacy to command remainder of Lordearon forces rye?
Both proudmoore and wrynn are from different kingdoms and would probably not be accepted as successors to the lordaeron throne. Garithos had the highest rank after arthas and king terenas were gone. Also this mission probably didn't happen in the story. It's highly unlikely garithos had pandaren, centaur, dragons, revenants and other creatures under his command that is silly. This is just a fun goofy mission for the sake of tower defence.
I'm noticing a trend... Jayborino, Do you think you can beat reforged without using Land Mines? Juz saying you seem to cheese alot of maps with Landmines lol.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, it's been only 2 maps out of about 50 that I've used mines! Define 'cheesing with mines'. The two times I have used them have been pretty legit. Now, in the Scourge campaign, yes, I will use them to destroy buildings and that is indeed cheese.
@@JayborinoPlays i guess it is *legit* but i kinda find them to be overpowered items. Using an item that can destroy an entire enemy army with practicly no casualties for reasonably cheap... I dunno man, they feel cheesy.
That’s understandable. Realistically, both times I used mines was more to overkill the mission in question; they weren’t required to outright win. I think this and Twilight of the Gods can definitely be done without mines, but it would be a lot messier.
@@JayborinoPlays have any of the missions actually beat you yet? For 'hard' mode nothing seems to have made you sweat a defeat.

I don't understand. Why sometimes flame strike doesn't work for me
Cuz you move away immediately when you cast flame
Flame Strike has a short Channeling time, if you move you cancel the channelling and waste the mana and cooldown, you can see in the command card that the spell is being casted by the green glow on the ability button, after the glow is gone the ability is done casting and you can safely issue other orders

Those towers' stats of yours are all edited on this map. By default, the towers are not that too strong, and don't have some abilities that the towers on this map have.
