Warcraft 3 Reforged supposedly will alter the original Warcraft 3 campaigns, so let's blast through Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne on Hard difficulty before Reforged is released! These videos will contain all cinematics and dialogue along with explanations of the strategies I'm using as a semi-walkthrough.
I am nowhere near as experienced with these maps as the StarCraft 2 campaigns, so it won't be quite as polished of a playthrough, but we will succeed through Hard difficulty nonetheless!
That Akama introduction was one of the goofiest things I've ever seen in the Warcraft universe.

Easy way to seal the gates to make Illidan invis by sorcerers, once first buff is wearing out, use other sorc to make other sorc invis so she can go and buff Illidan again.

The naga's flying units are so op. I remember just spamming them easily one shot any forces that came through the gates. Such cheese.
Most of their units are OP, the turtles and sirens are pretty much the best siege units and casters

I figured out a way to cheese this mission, while playing it on hard.
The invisibility ability from your sorceresses WORKS on Illidan, while he is channeling! This means, that you can basically close the gates, without fighting the demons at all!
One thing that I have to note here, is that invisibility only lasts for 120 seconds, which is two minutes. So unfortunately, you have to put it back on him again after a while. But you can just cast invis on a sorceress, so that she can get close to Illidan, without instantly dying to the demons.
I personally only used this to prevent Illidan from getting targeted to spells like forked lightning, and mana burn. And also as a get out of jail free card, if my defense is failing.
This mission looks way harder on hard difficulty
@@encz1583 He means that the difficulty of missions varies wildly such that some are still really easy even on Hard - this mission is not one of them.

I'm also sure, 9 players out of 10 did tower spam for the gates.
Can't deny it's absurdly fun to watch.

Yeah the mission is incredibly boring if you use whosyourdaddy... the waiting to close the gates is infinite 😀😀
Im pretty sure that the mask of death is basically an orb, Illidan doesnt normally have an air attack, the mask allows him to attack air, tho i might be wrong

Its not much of use
It's just an Orb of Fire, do you know something about it that I don't that makes it any good? Illidan already has an air attack and the orb effect conflicts with the Mask of Death, which is monumentally better with life steal.
It's because he is trying to breakfree from Kil'jaeden since he fails to destroy the frozen throne 😂
I forgot how terrifying the Broken Draenei appeared in Warcraft 3 when I was younger, looks like they had their jaws stretched apart
What I want to know
Is how you can extract lumber from freaking half dead mushrooms.

@Jayborino On this map you shouldn't use the elves for lumber, the naga worker unit harvests 20 from the get go. so all the money and elves you put on and into lumber harvesting was a waste.

They never fixed the "No militia could be found" bug, even in Reforged... especially in Reforged.
Its not a bug. You are not playing as humans, but as Elves. Their workers do not have the ability to turn into milita. The only thing they could fix is to remove the milita icon from town halls.

I really liked to play as a sort of 5th race, the Elf-Naga. Too bad it wasn't used more.
You can play rise of the blood elves (custom campaign) with full custom techtree.
@Jayborino When you were defending at the Gate you should have put Vashj on Forst bolt and left it on. she wasn't using her mana on anything else.
i believe that the enemies that are quarding the gates are coming out of them as well . for exmaple at the northwest gate there were eredar and nether dragons , at the north east gate there were saccumbus and at the south east voidwalkers and nether dragons . Also the draenai dont turn on you if you kill their units . I for one did kill some of them because they were blocking me as well. are you going to make a playthrough for reforged ?
Akama and those Drenais look disturbingly scary...

Only preference i have on this is using naga farms and defense towers. they're more effective. But this is top three favorite missions.
I was wondering how to do this, even with 100/100 food I wasn't able to withstand the beating at the top and bottom gates. But cheesing with towers did the trick...
Did you try putting towers as well, for backup?

ngl Draenei freaked me out when I played this mission for first time. Glad that their design got retconned into ''The Lost Ones'' type. Playable Draenei are far prettier, especially Lightforged.
Kinda off-topic, but newest Shadowlands WoW expansion so far made me shout both ''wow!'' and ''bruh!'' at the same time. It's ''WOW!'' worthy, because we finally can see Shadowlands realm instead of just being hinted when your character dies (it's basically like Paradise, Purgatory and Inferno with touch of Diablo and Doom Eternal aesthetics according to showcase video. Really loved the art there).
It's ''BRUH!'' worthy, because (SPOILER) Sylvanas beaten down Lich King and broke apart his crown, unleashing undead from his control and outmatching Garrosh with stupidity and insanity. It kinda gave me feeling that Blizzard is going towards Age of Sigmar mode with Azeroth, where planet literally shatters apart and chunks of planet with factions collide occasionally in space, making them fight each other.

It's funny you say that as in the past I've had comments claim that I say siege with a soft g and it should be 'seej'.
Fwiw, Miriam Webster lists both pronunciations as acceptable.

It doesn't matter what slot you have a mask of death on, it still gives you the life steal, so you sold an orb for nothing
This is incorrect, the lifesteal counts as an orb effect and therefore conflicts with any other orbs.

Though tbh, this was interesting plays. Some other channels just spammed Coutls that it ruined the fun in my eye. Spamming imba unit isnt fun and isnt challenging in any way. so, take my like.

Why the draenei looks so disfigured?, they look like horror characters
Back in Wc3 era, the Draenei were what are known now as the Lost Ones, the weakened and emaciated Draenei. This was retconned for WoW:BC, supposedly because Metzen simply forgot.
No doubt Akama and his tribe will be changed for Wc3 Reforged.
