Warcraft 3 Reforged supposedly will alter the original Warcraft 3 campaigns, so let's blast through Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne on Hard difficulty before Reforged is released! These videos will contain all cinematics and dialogue along with explanations of the strategies I'm using as a semi-walkthrough.
I am nowhere near as experienced with these maps as the StarCraft 2 campaigns, so it won't be quite as polished of a playthrough, but we will succeed through Hard difficulty nonetheless!

I always felt really bad for the Naga when I played this as a kid. Isn't the water freezing?

@@moonlite_ I'm pretty sure it is because they're lizard that cold water is lethal to them. they have no way to sustain their internal heat, which is why they're "cold blooded", if i recall
Lizards are cold blooded, so cold water affects them even worse!
They were slumbering deep beneath the ocean. In our reality ocean is 3-4°c at 2 kilometers already, and the deeper it gets the colder it becomes. So they shouldn't feel too cold even without the fact they are elves who were magically mutated with the power of the Old God
You can turn this map into a micro mission, by leaving one farm in the blood elf outpost at the start. Using every asset at your disposal: meat wagons to collect corpses for reanimated dead, gold & lumber from creeps to build battleships (at least seven); you can kill Sapphiron and wipe out both main bases. It's up for debate whether this approach is easier or harder than building up a regular base and army.
Doesn't it feel kinda weird that we just built up this huge alliance of Naga and Blood Elves in the last campaign just to now destroy it all with the Scourge.

Well there is only 2 scourge missions where you had to fight Illidan's forces. Blizzard did split up the scourge campaign between Arthas and Sylvanas.
Same thing with roc. In human campaign campaign we defend lordaeron and in undead campaing we destroy it

Here in Frozen Throne, I kind'a just like to let the standard units in attacking the human and blood elven towers because they have heavy armor anyways, and my siege weapons focus on their production.
Warcraft 3 never had DEL input to suicide or self-destruct units or buildings?

@Lalrivunga Hnamte i am playing the scourge campaign, i was thinking about trying to give anub'arak all str and agility boosting items and tomes, and let arthas get the int tomes and mana items, so anub'arak tanks and arthas heals him, i think it will go well, i hope
I gave all tomes except int to anub. He becauses a beast in the last mission
Jay, I think giving the tomes to Arthas is better because in the mission where he has to navigate through the tunnel alone, it's surprisingly difficult to survive on hard mode
i am little confused on the time table in the story line. While Arthas was hunting humans and meanwhile Illidan used the eye of sargeras in attempt to destroy the frozen throne? while Arthas was travelling to northrend, Illidan tried to hide in Draenor?
no, undead campaign takes place after night elf campaign. All warcraft 3 campaigns are chronological for that matter
Kil'jaden ordered Illindan to destroy the Frozen Throne because the Lich king betrayed the Legion (Lich king was under Legions control). After night elves stopped Illindan from breaking frozen throne with eye or sargeras, he ran into Outland (the Draneor that was shattered by portals for orcs to escape and now its called Outland), because he wanted to hide from Kil'jaden and Illindan was forced to destroy the Frozen throne again.
@@hazzmati also kaels involvement should clear some stuff for you. Arthas got back and took scourge from dreadlords and clearly when kael was with maiev and tyrande dreadlords were present and after that the spell was cast I think next day or something similar. And between that moment and Arthas getting to northrend you have however long blood elves campaign last (I think it's somewhere in the ballpark of 2 weeks to a month, the math might be possible to pinpoint closer) and the journey / preparations illidan and his armies made which is harder to say/calculate. But overall Arthas definitely took over after the spell was used so undead campaign is later than that.
If you patrol with acolytes they would have started repairing right away.
ring of P +4 is not bad ? You can collect a lot rings to make him huge tank to the last mission. about 65-75% reduction.
btw when you go down instead of going right to the pengo king u can find a item i cant remembre what it is but its at sm trees.
strange question ... you've been full-clearing everything else Why didn't you attack the red air base?
You can reach it via your transport boats. The entire naga base is shallow water that they can pass through.
I didn’t full clear the prior mission, or destroy everyone on the first map either. What do you mean I’ve been full clearing everything?

Why does arthas lose levels? Is it a bug? I haven't encountered this before
He's weakend because The Lich King loosing power. I mean, if you even played this camping you should notice that.
I've played it a few times but never really noticed. I guess that's how Blizzard takes the "weakened Arthas" thingy into account. I mean jeez I thought the game was bugged but oh well.

@jayborinoplays next mission, if you haven’t recorded it yet, you must possess a human peasant and set them up at your expansion. That way you preserve the alliance for the last forsaken mission and it’s that much harder.

Praudmur the next mission is where the forsaken attack a sleeping human and sleeping dreadlord loyalist base. The humans are being mind controlled. You can possess a sleeping human worker and build out the entire human tech tree by building a town hall at the expansion. It’s fun and cool.

Well, I’d encourage anyone who wants to try it, I don’t think it’s universally wrong to do or anything. But basically yes, it’s a waste of my own personal time.

I only cheat mostly on the campaigns yes even custom campaigns too which sometimes is not easy to do.
