I see you do transfer cases as well. on the np 271F manual (non electric motor), ( on my 2003 ford f250 5.4 4x4) you wouldnt happen to have the AUVECO part # for that connector (on top, over the shift lever) ? Hard to find S.O.B, that one !!!
Also and thanks for your videos, How do you get the lower dipstick/filler tube out of the trans. case ? Do you have to turn/twist it around on and off ?
I made a tool that removes it like a bushing from the control cavity outward. However you do it, be careful. If you hammer on it too hard, you could crack the case.
On the trans speed sensors (both) pigtail/connector/wiring harness is this the same type (auveco 19157) for all 99-03 4r100s or did they ever change the connector ?
Thank you. I do not have the part number handy. I would try to find someone local who is stripping a truck and see if they have it. A lot of options affect this harness, so if you go that route make sure the parts truck is configured the same as your truck
I have a 2000 f250 7.3 the trans is all fine but the over drove blinks. I need help 1st and second are fine but once it gets into drove like it’s in gear but just don’t wanna go or shift over.
Hello appreciate the information. On my 1999 F250 4x4 I am having a p0500 code. Checked for speed sensors, can’t find them.. Did replace the one on my differential. any suggestions sir? 🤔
I take it this is a gas truck? You might have a problem in the harness going back to the axle then. Check it from the fender liner all the way to the speed sensor. Anywhere that it rubs against the frame could be a short. As the frame rusts, it basically turns into a sawzall blade.
Absolutely. Easiest to reach up from the rear and over the crossmember to get to the solenoid plug. You should be able to get your thumb on the locking tab too. If you have an excursion, it will be a longer reach because of the different crossmember.
Thank you you for the tips. Always learning about my Ford, I’ll include this into my regular inspections.

It is the same for all 4r100's, TSS and OSS.
Great video. Do you have a part number, name, vendor for that complete harness? My dog tore it all to hell. I have a 2000 7.3.
Thank you.

A blinking OD light means there are transmission codes available. You need to read them.

@ thank you sir. I appreciate your reply and information. I will check the harness.🙏🏻👍🏻
Can you get to this with the transmission in vehicle
Absolutely. Easiest to reach up from the rear and over the crossmember to get to the solenoid plug. You should be able to get your thumb on the locking tab too. If you have an excursion, it will be a longer reach because of the different crossmember.
