My friend. You work so hard. When I was 19 I built my parents a 4000sqft home by myself. Had help rolling the trusses and electric plumbing and heating. did the rest by myself. Now I'm 55 and build a shed a week. My back went out 4 years ago, From working in the cold installing felt on a roof by myself. Funny it wasn't heavy lifting just a 10hr day. Please take care of your body. now I crawl out of bed and have a hard time walking. You better be making 1k a day my friend.
Your not going to last very long by yourself. You bring a whole new meaning to the phrase if you want something done right do it yourself. I admire you greatly.
I’m a semi retired 72 year old builder- carpenter. I prided myself on the one-person stuff. You got me beat……but those two large walls with the siding already on, you really shouldn’t be lifting yourself, too much can go wrong (I know!)……something slips, your back gets shot, etc. maybe next time you have a ‘far away’ install you can make a deal with the homeowner for an extra pair of hands for a couple of hours during the steps which call for 2 workers. BTW, you’re good, kid……you’re really good, fine product work, efficient. Just trying to help with your longevity.
I really appreciate the kind words and yes i agree with you about the heavy lifting I have wall jacks just don't like using them ... I'm going to try to be better about using them thank you so much for the comment and for watching God bless
@@triplerconstruction7858 I'm watching this while my broken ribs heal. I was repairing my boat dock by myself and slipped while "tight roping" my way to the end to get the last piece of deck. Slipped and fell on the frame, could be worse, could have ended me all together if I got knocked out or broke my back I would have drowned in 3 feet of water. I'm a hvac-r service tech of 20 years and quite fit, I deal with two man problems by myself all the time, but this has changed my approach for sure. Slow down, be safe.
When I had my shed built, they said I had to have 3ft of concrete on all sides beyond the shed. But for this one it looks like the concrete pad is the same size as the shed, so I guess it depends on who builds the shed.
It's customers choice and it's not ideal to put a a building on a pad that's way bigger because it's not good for the siding to sit on the concrete and there is more chance of water getting under them by a seam or crack eat. Thanks for asking
Hey, that wheel thing seems like. Big help. Mr. Clark is right, though. l ruptured and herniated two discs in the 1990s. Nothing is ever the same! Is that width 12? I counted 12 panels. Is each on 12 inches? Looks like a great space. I wanted to do 12x16 as a plumbed cottage with two stories barn gambrel and dormer...
Slab will always be the best way to go, even if you want it off the ground higher start with a slab first if you can afford it. Next step down would be a gravel pad. I try not to ever take short cuts on the foundation, especially if your looking for longevity. I helped pour my neighbors slab and it came out great and alot cheaper(roughly $300 bucks for 10x10ft.) Compared to $1000 plus quote. Best of luck to you.
Thank you for posting. Is Old Hickory engineered tounge and groove floor termite resistant or treated? Is the Old Hickory LP Smart Panel siding termite resistant or treated? Thank you!
Thank you very much you can go to your local old Hickory sheds dealer and find one of the factorys to work at and then its just hard work and possibly you could get my position In a few year's
Is there a height limit to sheds without a permit? Like my county let’s me do 200 sq ft so a 10x20 shed but I was wondering is the height of the building not included in the sq footing?👀😮
Wow, awesome work! looking at getting one of these for the spring near Idaho City. Cool to think you might be one of the builders!- what size wood are the skids? they look way bigger than 4 x 4's that i thought they came with.
Thank you so much unfortunately it will probably be the other builder that does the builds over there I do eastern id and Utah. And they are 4x6 skids thanks for watching I wish I could build yours
@@triplerconstruction7858 no worries. i'm sure the other builders do great work also. mine would actually be delivered whole to the site anyway. looking at the 12 x 20 playhouse model lofted barn. are there specific upgrades you think we should get- will be in the mountains with plenty of snow. wasn't sure how important the 2x6 floor joists or 3/4" flooring would be, extra skid, etc. we will be ordering the snow load package. looking to use it as a cabin on weekends. thanks!
Those are nice buildings here in Ohio they want 20% more to build on site I like the lower loft but noticed no tar paper or anything on the deck before the metal roof 🤔nice build 👍
rrrconstruction2021@gmail.com Best thing to do is go to the Old Hickory Sheds dealer in elco and they will hook you up I probably won't build it as it's no my area but I'd love to

I could feel my back snap with every wall you lifted! That'll make you an old man fast. Beautiful building though.
I know I need to stop thanks alot for watching!
my man you are a true 1-man army! well done!
My back hurts just watching!, great work!
Unbelievable! A one man CREW! GREAT WORK!
Thank you so much !
Brilliant job buddy can’t believe on your own 👍
That was very impressive, one man tackling a project in a day.

Allit takes isone slipped disc and you are out of work for weeks or more.

That wheelie cart was brilliant.
Much respect bro you are insane for doing that all by yourself awesome work!!!
Thanks bro
mucho macho
Watching this one man assemble the shed alone makes my muscles sore. I’d need to be taken to the ER if it had been my job.
Well done
Thank you 😊
That's wayyyy too much work for 1 man ! You earn your money ! KUDOS to you SIR ! 🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸
That dud is a real hard working man.
Thank you 🙏
You are dang good at what you do my friend and a humble man
Thank you very much God gets the glory
Much respect, enjoy your youth!!
You’re a very very good thank you for the video
Thank you very much and thanks for watching 🤙
Nice job dude and all by yourself. Nice.
Thank you
Man you make it look easy. Great jod and attitude.
Thank you very much
Good Job ....
That was impressive.
really nice video. thanks for making it. wish you were close to N.C. could hire you to help me build my 18x36. Keep up the great work.
Thanks alot I would love to help you just a little too far away lol.more build videos coming!
I too would hire you I'm in North carolina as well. But, u def would have help.
How much would something like this cost today with a roll up door, four panel door and some windows? Nice work.
Nice job. When I was younger I would lift as much weight as I possibly could handle. Not any more, but I would if I could.
Thank you
Damn. Nice work man. I’m a shed builder. That’s impressive.
Thanks bro I appreciate it
Fantastic job! That's a lot for one person to do. How large should my concrete pad be for a 12X20 shed?
When I had my shed built, they said I had to have 3ft of concrete on all sides beyond the shed. But for this one it looks like the concrete pad is the same size as the shed, so I guess it depends on who builds the shed.
What is that tool you used to keep the wall in place while you were lifting it. Great work
farm jack . all farmers had one. it will lift a tractor 4 feet with 7000 lb force
Good stuff subscribed 👍🏻
Thank you very much
Why build a wooden floor on top of a slab of concrete? Just curious
It's customers choice and it's not ideal to put a a building on a pad that's way bigger because it's not good for the siding to sit on the concrete and there is more chance of water getting under them by a seam or crack eat. Thanks for asking
What you think using 2x4s for flooring frame on 12x20 shed nothing heavy is going be inside the side just a bunch of chicken cages

Could an Old Hickory building be put on a concrete slab without the wood floor?
Yes we do that occasionally

Why spend the extra cost for the wood on the floor, you already had a great cement slab?
It's the customer preference
Thanks for the video and good job. One question, where did you get the dolly used to move walls from trailer to site?
Thanks for watching,I got it custom built at a fabrication shop
Thank you for posting. Is Old Hickory engineered tounge and groove floor termite resistant or treated? Is the Old Hickory LP Smart Panel siding termite resistant or treated? Thank you!
So the floor is water proof and termite resistant and the pressure treated siding is to but the other siding isn't thanks for watching 👍
Give ya credit one man crew looks good what’s the average cost on build on site ? Me I would of used the concrete for floor
mouse motel
Do you sell plans for this shed?
very good job bro! i would like to work like you, what i need to work in that?
Thank you very much you can go to your local old Hickory sheds dealer and find one of the factorys to work at and then its just hard work and possibly you could get my position In a few year's

15 feet here . power lines are 18
@Triple R Construction how high were the walls on that shed? 6ft or 8 ft?
hey man I love the channel! What size/brand is the trailer you use?
Thank you very much it's a 20 foot PJ and I built the sides for it
Kyler asked while you lifted a wall- "Is he gonna be weak for a minute?" 😂😂
🤣🤣 pretty much
how much total was this job

Nice! Well there is a chance I would build it at the factory on site builds get slow in the winter

Out here they charge 10% and Tar paper is customer preference option thanks for watching
What does the finished product cost?
All depends on the options and other things one like this is probably 10 or 11 thousand
Do you use tampered hardwood or pressboard in construction or is it all wood?
We use both it depends on what siding the customer orders
The customer sure is good at naming dogs tho.
where did you get that dolly
I had it custom built for me at a fab shop
Do you personally do on-site builds in Northern California? You do such fantastic work. If you do, I’d like contact info please.
I don't sorry I didn't see your comment till now
@@triplerconstruction7858 Thank you, anyway!
Could you message.me the dimensions of your wall cart I'll pay you
I am a shed builder in Delaware and need something similar
I'll try to get you the print out from the shop I used email me rrrconstruction2021@gmail.com
Your a one man band
Let’s see...cost of assembled/delivered shed minus hernia operation/back or shoulder surgery plus loss of wages during recovery/therapy?
Could I get your contact info? I need a shed built in northern Nevada
rrrconstruction2021@gmail.com
Best thing to do is go to the Old Hickory Sheds dealer in elco and they will hook you up I probably won't build it as it's no my area but I'd love to
for the long run, you can charge 4,660 labor on this one. 4,200 material=$8,860 plus tax....take care of your family...
Haha, whats the point of pouring a cement pad to build a wooden floor shed over it?
Mans amish
Nope just work like one lol 😆
I’m guessing you don’t have to work out after work cause all day every day is a workout...
You got that right 😄
Lol why is the soviet anthem playing?
I better look into that lol just free music
28 years in construction, never would I recommend doing this alone. F your body up easily!
A floor on a slab...lol...a fool and his money...
Le américains adorent les constructions en carton.
Waste of a concrete slab in my opinion.
