    You get a high five and a well done from me for your work and especially that you captured it all in 22 minutes. I will also admit that I held my breath when you were standing on the top level of the ladder but you pulled it off. And finally, it was too cool when you ended driving your lawn mower into your freshly minted shed!!

      Thanks for the high five. I'll admit it was a little iffy up there.

    Seen a bunch, this by far is the best shed build I’ve seen yet. Love the attention to detail with the soffits. Did you follow a plan or is this design from your own idea? Thank you for posting!!❤

      I appreciate it! I didn't use any plans. I did go a little extra on the soffits and I wanted bigger door that would let me get my riding mower in there. Thanks for watching!

    great video. going to be using a lot of this over the next couple weeks while building my shed. Question. You have 9 - 2x6x8' - floor joists listed in the materials. Where did these come into play. I can see about 14' of 2x6 for blocking, but can't find where to account for all of those 2x6x8'. thanks

    • @buchananbuilds485
      @buchananbuilds485  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I think that was extra material. I was going to do more blocking and use some for another project. There was also some extra 2x4 in there but not sure exactly how much. I copied that list straight from the invoice. You can use it as a guide if you're doing the same size, but my numbers will probably be different than yours.

    • @buchananbuilds485

      The stud length is 85". I was trying to keep it under the height limit for not permitted structures in my area. Yours may vary.

    • @buchananbuilds485
      @buchananbuilds485  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This was a 4/12 pitch with 2x4 rafters, no ridge board, and gussets on both sides
      center to outside wall 72"
      siding 5/8"
      overhang 10"
      total run 82 5/8"
      approximate rafter length long to short 87 1/8" (this will change depending on the overhang you want)
      There are online rafter calculators available to make it easy. Good luck with the build.
