Its voted worst resort by a bunch of southerners who wouldnt know a good time if it slapped them in the face. Skegvegas is you get what you see, no pretentious clap-trap . Great vid Gimbal
Richard Tice brought me here. Believe me mate, you don't know how right you are. I live in London, the exact borough that brought Kier Starmer to Parliament! Ignore those bunch of snobs. Not the brightest bunch and they def don't represent the working class anymore. Just looking here at this beautiful beach, ice cream two quid, fish & chips 6.25, you don't see that very often! What's not to like?! I'll bet pints aren't the same as twatty London either! And I'll bet the locals don't protest when you come to visit, unlike Spain. Skeggy is def worth a visit. Lots of nice people, family atmos. Perfect. Cheers!
Seeing the seaside, and all they have to offer for families, has been wonderful to see. Skegness and Ingoldmells, are so lovely, its great to see how busy they are. Thank you for sharing, Hun :) x
One of the best seaside towns in the country. Beautiful beach lovely town loads to do! Can't beat skeggy not the worst at anything! And not to mention trawlers catch! The whole seafront from North to South parade is lovely. Ps the dragon is nameless at the min there is a competition running to name it. The waterway rides have been running 3maybe 4 years owned by teen sprit who own the aquarium and other places dinoland is well worth a visit of you have spare time 😊
Certainly busy in Skeg. All those wide open spaces and they still have to close a road! Think that waterway has been there forever, slightly different now. You filmed where it begins near the beginning of your film. The old pier was good with a lovely theatre at the end. Many changes to Skeg since we last went.
Had many happy times at Skegness, year after year , with good fresh air and enjoyment, the shops and town also but miss Marks+Spencer sadly closed. The journey to Skegness is mostly countryside lovely 👍
Thank you for sharing Skegness with us, what a lovely beach. I had an Aunt and Uncle who had a static home here and now I know why. Definitely worth a visit.
That 'river' was there when I had childhood holidays there in the 1970s and there was a staffed boat ride you could take from one end (Natureland Zoo) to the other end about 1 mile away. I'm sure it was still there in 1996 when I last went there but from other TH-camrs I guess it's now closed and you can now only have self-driven boat rides along about half of it. Back in '96 I noticed that they had gotten rid of the model boating lake near to one of the exits from the Pleasure Beach, though oddly (then at least) there was still a shack there to buy your model boats from.
When I went a few years ago, I heard from one of the staff that people kept vandalising the boats when they were stored away in the boat sheds. Plus the boats were getting older, needed more maintenance and some were unrepairable. So I think they had to put an end to the boat rides due to cost, bad luck and antisocial behaviour. While I liked the boat ride and speaking to the staff, I believe they have adapted well having the personal, smaller boats. Theyre more fun and appealing to families, and there was never much to do at the other end of the river apart from Natureland and the Arnold Palmer golf. I love visiting those attractions every year, but all the investment seems to be going into the area by the Clock Tower and the Pier at the moment...
Thanks for that mate and an hour-long nearly, I can't get around any more so this is fantastic to see my Skeggy, Oh and the boating streams have been there since 1955...... Cheers mate.....
I’ve not been to that part of Skegness before. I’ve only been to Butlin’s and Fantasy Island in Ingoldmells. I’ll have to look around that part of the town on my next visit as it looks like I’ve missed out on quite a lot of the attractions etc. Thank you for the great content and I loved the choice of music to accompany it. Keep up the great work.
This is great ... we have similar beaches here on fresh water lakes like Erie. No Pleasure Beach though. Those donkeys look fit too. Prices are decent and place looks nice and clean. Many thanks and much love from Toronto, Canada.
Hiya New to your Chanel .My sister and family currently down at Skegness .I've Never been so seen your vlogs so Had a nosey .fab Way to see places you may like to one day visit and have to say definitely will visit Skegness..I'm just bk from Italy first time abroad but my every year holidays was always The Famous Blackpool lol.Cant beat thees kiind of holidays.

I'm going down in August for a week with my auntie, uncle and cousins. I'm 26 and not been down since I went with my mamma and dadda when I was 11. So looking forward to it. And it's deffo not a rubbish place like people say ❤️🥰
We took our little tent there last year for our first visit, apart from deciding we're too old for camping now, we were impressed enough to book for a two week stay there next year. Not in a tent.
With you at Skegness right now.At the Reggae festival now, pity you couldn't play the music but love the sound track you are playing.Skegness looks great for families with young kids, don't think I'd like it now, however went to Scarborough with you earlier, great shopping street.Did I see some 17th ,18th century buildings? I always look up when I am somewhere new.very interesting.😊
I live here for 7 months every year and it’s cheap, friendly and lots to do. Boston is a bus or train ride away for more shops and its direct train to Grantham and Nottingham.
Which should rename themselves as Witch if they thing Skegness Vegas is the worst seaside resort! So do they have Jaywick, Southend! Margate and St Bees at the top? This is one of your best videos, well done! It shows what a lot of hard work has been done in Skeggy over the years to make it clean, tidy and have everything any one could want at the Seaside. Even your enhanced colour filters did not put me off although the Pink in the Ice Cream stall near the start was a bit shocking 😂. The canal nea the Pier with the boats on has been there well over 50 years that I can remember, with different types of boats then, you must have been sleeping or taken a different route. Which is your favourite chippy? We have tried most of them😎. Catch you on the next one👍

Cool should go through Tower Gardens early morning the seaguls are so loud. Never heard anything like it! So glad you've updated the captions I can read them now! 😁👌
Love this longer than usual video, you get to see the place in better detail. I was disappointed by the fact that 'filming Tower gardens' consisted of a quick 'here it is' look and then turning away from it. When I was a kid I'd go there with my grandparents to play on the kids park, feed the ducks and find a good place to sit and eat chips. :)
Nothing better than a bit of Skeggy! Thanks Neil for the trip to the seaside! Oh yeah caught a glimpse of your lovely girlfriend at the end, Nice smile! :)
Looks great, bet you can get a meal there, and Fish n Chips till late. Miles better than over rated ripoff North Devon, where the Cafes only work half the day and most of the houses have been bought for second homes and BnBs. They stand empty for eight months of the year and businesses have closed. Even visitors complain there is no life in North Devon.

I'm acutely going to Skegness next weekend! Can't wait to see the clock tower and all the pretty arcades! Can't wait!!!
Yes, i love Skegness. I went there on holiday last year and hope to go again this year ❤
Keep doing what you are doing your videos bring a smile . Never dull . Skeggy gets a bad press because the critics just don’t like people having fun 🤩
