Wow!!! Skegness has seriously gone up in the world since I was last there in 2010! I liked it then, even though it looked a bit tired. It's lovely to see it looking revitalized and invested in. Next time I come home for a visit, Skeg is on my list!
That is the quick walk round Skegness in 15 mins and it is nice and sunny day and the arcade and the nice pier as well and it is nice and clean and the fire engine and its looks very busy thanks Neil
I love going Skegness bc I go every year when I go Skegness when I was a kid I loved the donkeys they was my favourite as a little kid until my favourite two retired from doing donkey rides 😢it’s sad but I’m ok bc Skegness is the best place to be in more though summer but it’s open all though seasons but this is my favourite holiday I go from July all the way until the lass day of summer for uk 🇬🇧
I haven't been to Skegness for years. It's been receiving a lot of bad press because of the immigrants being housed in some of the hotels there. It actually looked very clean and pleasant. Many thanks for taking me on a lovely walk around, bought back lots of lovely memories. 😎🌞😎
Skegness is still the same , great place to go , was there a few weeks ago ! But I went to school in Skeg in the 1980's , still the same great place to be !
We are in skeg vegas next weekend , first time back to skeggy since 2019 and been going since before I was born. I never get why it’s voted the worst seaside place. While it’s probably not the prettiest . It’s still a nice place for a short break or longer stay. At moment my only issues is finding dog friendly places to eat. We have been spoilt with Bridlington over the last couple of years now that’s one super dog friendly destination
@@AndreiBerezin I could say the same about people with kids. I don’t have kids and never wanted them but I find dogs better behaved than most kids and definatley some adults esp the ones I have seen recently.
@@mollymagooderby I see your point here, and I agree with your comparison to kids, but at least kids are humans and you cant even dream about people NOT bringin them around if they have them. Plus I've been to England, seen all types of drunkards, freaks, lgbtqs etc. on the streets, and believe me there are countries where humans (incl kids) always act nicer than dogs! Best wishes
@@AndreiBerezin well like a lot of dog friendly places we go to there are designated dog friendly area’s in resturants which you prebook, you see alot of anti dog people are miss guided in regards to dog friendly. As for kid free I have just come back from a kid free hotel yes it’s in the carribean but there are also kid free hotels like Warner holidays in the uk. But you said not everyone likes dogs , not everyone likes kids but my dog is part of my family. I don’t take her everywhere but when we go on holiday in uk we do take her but while Bridlington is very dog friendly skegness isn’t. And I have been going since before I was born to Skegness cos my grandparent & parents had caravans in skegness but dog friendly or not. Skegness is no longer for us
Cheers Neil put me in holiday mode now only got 3 weeks to wait to visit Mablethorpe, skegness and chapel.Skeg is so clean even the seagulls are careful where they go to poop lol
A v nice vid and nice walk but to be accurate you did 1/3 of the prom ( and the high drone footage is 2 years ago) but I enjoyed it, go in Bottons next visit please :) Thank you
Love your videos ( and music)..hahaha. Skeness looks like its one of the best uk seaside resorts NOT the worst !!! Can you try to do these resorts too... Southsea Weymouth Torquay Painton Westen super mare Newquay St ives Margate I know some u have done already but those were just after the pandemic. Thanks.
Went back to Skeg for the first time in 20 years - I must say, it's got it all! From the travelers in the public carpark parked over multiple parking spots, sitting in their chairs over other free spots... to toothless crones screaming at their kids from across the road while they finish their vaping. Lines for the toilets (40p a go) and shops selling 2 year old rock that's gone soft and chewy. What a treat!
I have never been to Skeggy and for it to be voted worst seaside places really depends on your point of view. Got to say it looks to be everything that I dislike about a seaside town but not having been should I say I don’t like it? Probably not until I have been, do I think it deserves to be called worst seaside town? Probably not as it looked tidy and clean enough. Enjoyed watching your video of Skeggy and it’s great you revisit these places, certainly don’t think it deserves the worst town title really.
There sooo much you could do the beach for playing chilling there’s a funfair that leads to the beach and out the beach there’s food places to eat at there’s more Arcade around there’s donuts 🍩 and there’s a foundation you can wish at I do every year there lots of shops up here also there the clock tower that cars drive passes and if you walk down from the beach or the clock tower there the fairy dell but if you keep walking straight there the log flume fun 🤩 and there’s bingo if you keep walking down to and a McDonald’s to xxxxxx
Cannot understand for the life of me why it's voted worst seaside resort.. We've done butlins Skegness for over 30 years and it's a lovely place with lovely people.. Just got back from Torquay.. And yes it's got a beautiful marina.. But its no where near as pleasant as Skegness .. And southern folk are the most unpleasant I have ever experienced.. In my opinion.
skegness looks a lot better then blackpool so i do not know why it is voted one of the worst but i think blackpool is one of the worst places to visit now
Voted the worst place by who? Probably people who have never been there ! All on the flat ,so easy to get around for seniors and disabled ,so much going on for Gods sake , o.k . a bit bleak in Winter but everywhere is bleak in winter .Benidorm , Blackpool all get a slagging off by these "people" who ever they are , we never really find where these "people" come from , do we.?
I love Skegness, lots of childhood memories of holidays and day trips here. I hope it never changes!
Another great & fantastic video of SKEGNESS | A tour of seaside holiday resort Skegness, England the music is good!.💙💙🧡🧡

I guess the dog owners will never understand that dogs are not loved by EVERYONE

great video - i can almost smell the chips & vinegar
This is my favourite place with great city?
Neal, could you do Bournemouth?
Watching this video I don't think she should be voted the worst beach looks great there. I've not been there yet but its in my plans to
I'm going to one in Park View Skegness village holiday next year just gonna be a long journey with not driving so he'll hope its worth it.

Thanks for the tips!
Wondered where that wind generator had gone lol
Great video Neil Skegness is my nearest seaside resort not sure why it gets bad publicity
the bad press normally comes from third rate entertainers who cannot get a gig there
Skegness is the best! The hell with Devon and Cornwall etc, skegness has it all for the whole family and its feels safe.
Can i ask what day this was filmed? Is it a busy saturday/sunday morning?
Clock Towers remind me of Back To The Future
haha I see why!
Love your videos ( and music)..hahaha.
Skeness looks like its one of the best uk seaside resorts NOT the worst !!!
Can you try to do these resorts too...
Southsea
Weymouth
Torquay

Westen super mare
Newquay
St ives
Margate
I know some u have done already but those were just after the pandemic.
Thanks.
Margates a dump.
Great video, is there anything in the pipeline for ingoldmells?
Oh yes - watch this space
"Skegness is Bracing" (windy and, usually, cold!)
Yes very true!
Not been to Skegness in years

skegness looks a lot better then blackpool so i do not know why it is voted one of the worst but i think blackpool is one of the worst places to visit now
What is it you’re not keen on about Blackpool?
No
The actual beach itself looks nice but the rest looks like my idea of hell. Think I'll be skipping Skegness.
