How did you clean the frame up to new like that, you said you used Scotchbrite how did it not scratch the frame? As I would like to use it on my frame.
First I sprayed some aluminum wheel cleaner on the frame and pressure washed it at the car wash. The grey scotchbrite does put scratches in the aluminum but they are very fine. I sprayed with WD 40 then buff with the scotchbrite and wipe down with a rag . Later if you want you can polish with aluminum polish but I like the brushed look.
