The, “that makes your butt look big “ comment would have gotten her a ride home with grandma and demotion to flower girl. That dress was stunning on her. That child just wanted to assert her so-called authority.

People let kids take WAY too many liberties with the way they talk to adults anymore. She was showing out and could have worded that more politely, if she needed to say it at all.
I would have been scared to death to say something like that to an adult at that age, and if I somehow let it fly out of my mouth, my mother would have been right there to slap some sense back into me.

I agree! I raised a feisty, sassy daughter but I taught her respect and manners, while making sure she kept the feistiness and sass in her back pocket for when she NEEDED it. Now I’m raising my granddaughter and she is the same and we are teaching her the same. Manners and respect, but keep that feistiness and sass in your back pocket. This little girl is just a brat. Also, at 8 years old a kid usually knows better than to blurt out “that makes your butt look big” IF they’ve been taught manners and some tact. I would expect that from maybe a 3,4, or even a 5 year old but not an 8 year old. They did end up getting beautiful dresses, but even the attendant suspected the little girl said she liked the moms dress just so she could start trying on dresses herself. 🤔

We don´t know what the child has been through to get to this point: his father marrying a woman who is not her mother. It is either a divorce - or worse. So let´s go easy on a little girl coping with her new situation. I think it is great that the bride to be includes her new little step-daughter in the big occasion. It will pay off in the long run. ❤

It is a disaster brewing for a very belligerent, even more outspoken, rude, nasty teenager who will be a bully and swan about as if she is the best and prettiest person alive. An 8-ytear-old girl whose father is getting remarried holds a significant number of cards in the deck. She's already referring to herself as the bride, and the adult bride is going along with it. Will the couple be able to vacation alone? When Dylan misbehaves, who will be the disciplinarian? How will Dylan react if they have a new child together? There are numerous ways to include her in the wedding preparations without giving her authority to make decisions on behalf of the adults.

The step mom/bride is such a sweetheart. There are birth moms who would be more mean than her to that girl with a big mouth! I hope with a more stable family, the little girl learned some manners and respect!
They both did look lovely in end.

In so many of these episodes the dress is a little too small. The dress can be rejected because the bride or her friends/family say it is too small, Why doesn't Lori say something like, 'this is a sample, and [as she does say] they are usually a smaller size than most woman are'. So if it is too small, the odds are they can get it in a larger size. Maybe not plus size, but surely bigger.
When I got married in 1990, Junior Brides were in. Mini-me. Usually the child had some role, like flower girl; however, during the reception she changed into a bride costume. With my wedding it was the flower girl and she changed into a Halloween bride's dress I got at Toys-R-Us and held onto until the wedding. Others used First Communion dresses.

I think she looked gorgeous in the gown with the rosettes and if little Miss Sassy Brat hadn't said anything I think she might have chosen that dress - her appt went to fast so her little "monster" could try on her dress - should of let the brat try hers on first so Bride could have really enjoyed appt........truthfully she would have been better going with her Mom and sister only to get her dress then another appt for sassy brat

I think it's so great that Priscilla and Dylan have such a close relationship, and that Priscilla has her playing a big part in the wedding. This is how you make a child feel welcome in a blended family! Dylan's definitely playing things up for the camera though, the shots of her when she's not front-and-center show a much milder version.

This is the BRIDE'S day. A special time to be with her family and friends. Little girls shouldn't be at such an important event. She's rather opinionated too. A "junior bride?"NOPE!! Never heard of such a thing before. This is the day for the Bride and Groom. Does that mean she walks down the aisle with the bride? Gets her picture taken with the wedding party? Sit at the main table with the B& G and the wedding party?

While I applaud the bride wanting to make her future step daughter an integral part of the wedding I didn’t get the whole ‘junior bride’ thing. A junior bridesmaid would have been a better option in my opinion.
And I certainly wouldn’t let a child dictate what I would wear on my wedding day-or any other day either! Children are not known for their ability to judge what looks classic, elegant, tasteful and I would be afraid I would end up looking like a tacky Disney princess😂
