- Two brides in need of wedding dresses are helped by Franc. One of them is relieved that her mother continues increasing her spending limit, but her ideal dress is still well inside the limit. The second bride tells the story of when her fiancé popped the question by placing the engagement ring in her new wellies underneath the Christmas tree.

I loved how kindly the first bride’s friend was in suggesting that the skirt of dress #2 didn’t flatter her as much as other dresses would. It complimented the bride, while demonstrating that she wanted what was best for her friend. O, how. very much I wish more of the people granted the privilege of gown shopping with the bride would show that level of care!!!
Both brides were so sweet, the first one had a great sense of humor. And both chosen gowns were perfect for each bride. Glad they added the chains on the back of the second bride’s dress.
Yes to the dress Ireland is so lovely. Their accent the gentleness the humor and kindness of the Irish is really so nice to be around.

almost forgotten this series , we need more of them. The sheer ability of the designers to Show us what Simplicity CAN achieve by attention to othe gown being" wedded " to the flow of the Brides body which is Not achieved in those flounces , fish tails & ghastly beaded belts . Here we HAVE families that do not ' ooh" & " ahh" extravagantly but actually SEE with sincerety what these dresses are meant to tell us ......

I love the first bride's dress. For the second bride, I think that they could have done much better. Yes, the dress showed her 'new' figure, but did little else.
I agree. Of course it's edited so we don't know how many she tried on but they seemed to imply that this was the first fitted one.
jo and al would have put her in a mermaid and would have told her to look at HERSELF and rally in how gorgeous SHE is and not the dress. anyone who has lost weight has a hard time LOOKING at themselves, after hiding for so long.
Ugh I love SYTTD Ireland the best, I would love to one day go there just to experience it. They all seem so kind and the taste is incredible

@@danetteh.7802 That poor bride! Did we even get to hear what she might be interested in by way of dresses? No. However we did hear a whole lot from her entourage about what she should and shouldn’t do. I think she just picked whatever her friends and mother approved of. Very sad. I hope her husband is less domineering - but my hunch is he likely isn’t.
You must take into account where this bride is from and what she is used to. The dress was what I would call sweet but not frumpy, and most brides today want to look like sirens, which to me is not bridal at all. This dress complimented the bride and her personality and probably her venue. Please don’t be so opinionated at the expense of others.

You couldn’t be more wrong about pretty much everything you said. Was my dress to everyone’s liking? No and that’s ok, because I loved it and I felt amazing on our wedding day. It suited me and my personality and my goal of looking modest because that’s what I like, not because of a “domineering group of friends” as you put it.
Amazing to make such assumptions of people from a heavily edited television show, well done.

First bride’s dress makes her look older… too plain and severe for a young woman. That’s a 50 year old’s dress. Second bride looks like she is still trying to hide. I’m sure there would have been much more flattering dresses in that shop. It also looks too old for the bride.
Well, only more😮 flattering where you are concerned. Obviously she like the one she got. People in other countries aren't so show off-y as women in the u.s. are.
