I dont run a Diffdrop in my Prado Either. In some cases they make it worse i feel. Some shops wont fit them. You loose alot of strength in the mounting of the diff and all your bashplates.
Hi, did you have to mallet the fox rear shocks to the shock mounts. When I installed them, they were super tight to get into the mounts. Had to use rubber mallet. And did you put the rubber washers to the mount first or after the shock was in place. Did you put also the metal cupped washer before putting the stud in place.. Im asking this because I find the installation guide confusing.
Hey Aaron, love the vids mate, keep them coming, best 4x4 content in Oz. Can you tell me the mounting details on the hidden 32 inch light bar? Did you use Tacoma/Fortuner mounts or did you make your own? I am upgrading to the new Lux next week and I am thinking of keeping the clean look for a while. Any help would be great mate, Cheers.
Hey mate. Yeah Camo seems to love it. He wound one coil up to relevel about the 1 month- 5000km mark after the tassie trip. It sits pretty high as the weights set for a steel bullbar. He hasnt got around to it yet. But hey. He loves it like that anyway. It would be alot firmer ild say
Just FYI when undoing or torquing up the lower suspension bolts for the front struts, only apply force to the BOLT HEAD only and not the nut as the back of the nut has spikes in it to keep it from coming undone.
Hey, yeah it does affect height. So you can run the standard leafs instead of going for a heavy duty set making the ride stiffer. Camo Hasnt got any extra weight in his really, never tows or loads it right up. So seems to be fine to do what hes doing with it
Nice job!! You’ve got a cool rig.. from the middle of the USA. Good luck in all you do sir.
Lawwwdd - she's shiny for a 2016 model 😍
3" and no diff drop?

@@AaronOffroader well with a 3" lift you put a lot more strain on the thing at the wheels (not sure what it's called)
Or I think it's at the wheels but not sure.

Hey... Can u give the link to buy this shock?? Hard to find here.. from malaysia..
Nice lift, what offset did you choose on your rims? Looks killer
Any vibrations in the body? (seat) just done a three inch lift & having vibration around 80-100 kms, diff drop installed.
What about controllable upper control arms
This is a budget build. Camo will get a set one day. Im not sure how precise his wheel alignment would be right now.
Nice hilux, but I like more how perform narrow tires in the hilux you get a lot of more grip
looks mean, what rim offset is the hilux running?
I just ordered the same 3inch coilovers from Phat Bars. How do you find the ride quality? Better than stock? Is it smoother or firmer?

Hey mate, what was the go with the rear shackles? And what's the benefits of going extended shackles in the rear? Just flex or does it affect height?

Hi.
I am going to install IMS suspension with 2" lift and 30mm spacers.
My tire size is 265/65/R17
I hope this is sufficient to prevent any rollovers.
What's the electric tool you used to unbolt? I need that it looks handy
