@@CareersTalk Thanks Sunand!! I went through your previous videos you have covered most of it but can you help to answer matrices used in safe to track performance ? I mentioned burndown and burnup like in this video but interviewer expected more than that like sprint churn etc

@@CareersTalk I have few additional questions from my previous interviews:
      1. When developers (altogether/no difference in opinion) estimates a user story as 8 even though it is not very complex. How do you challenge their estimate.
      2. If using Fibonacci series for estimating, why do we use it and why are the numbers 4,7 etc are not considered to estimate the story.

Thanks Sunand and Preeti, I have a concern on 2nd question, do we maintain any documents to showcase the dependency also since we follow INVEST criteria for user stories, how come dependencies occur ? Could you clarify on this please ?

As of now, I am working in SAFe where we have a confluence page created to manage and track risks and dependencies for a PI, so, once you are done with the PI planning sessions, you keep tracking and evaluating those dependencies sprint by sprint. Have a discussion on this with the developers every alternate backlog refinement session to see if there are any new dependencies added and what's the status on the existing ones. In addition to that we have a SOS every sprint with our RTE to discuss and mitigate the same. You can create a confluence page even when you are using Scrum only. To answer to your second question, the INVEST criteria in a to make sure the user stories are doable within a sprint to avoid spillover, confusions etc ..following INVEST doesn't mean there won't be dependencies. As a Scrum master, you should keep asking your team every now and then to reevaluate risks and dependencies to stay ahead of those.
