  • Stopping off at a random roadside creek can sometimes pay off.
    I begin fishing up this small creek looking for brown trout.
    tiny Victorian stream angling at its best.

      This is me in my element here in the bush.
      Fresh air, dinky little creek and a bunch of beautiful small stream fish.
      Not many places better as a whole experience goes.

    Hey Lee
    Loving the content and I’d love to start walking streams like those too.
    What gear (waders/pants/boots) are you using in the water?
    Looking at good waders but they’re a bit pricey.
    Cheers

      Hey mate,
      That's awesome.you want to start walking streams
      I just have cheap Wilson Waders they were about $80 from memory.
      I'm thinking about investing in some good neoprene waders with a proper shoe and yes they can get quite pricey haha.

    This stream looks so familiar, swear I've been there before at some point. What's the river called?

    • @fishermansoffice
      @fishermansoffice  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a Creek up in high country vic and I actually can't remember what it's called to honest 😅 I just stopped off the road to have a look and decided to fish it next morning.

    So true Lee , people are basically lazy these days relying on social media .
    In the late 70's when I was getting into fishing you had no choice but to search for spots , I still fish some of those out of the way streams and they still fish well.

      Sometimes it does seem as though people feel a little entitled to information, I think alot of the fun is in exploring the unknown and discovering it for yourself.

    Which model infeet are you running mate ?

    • @fishermansoffice
      @fishermansoffice  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's the 702lrs mate.
      Loving it at the moment especially paired with the freams reel.
      Holds trebles in really well.
      Mainly using it for my to water Bass stick but also trout sometimes.

      @@fishermansoffice that’s the model I’m after I think. Casts 3-12g lures?
      I had the 6”8ULRS and it was great for light streams and whiting on surface lures.
      I want the heavier rod for throwing spoons in lakes for trout
      I love the slower action of the blank
