      I know this is very late but, I'm in desperate need to help. I am trying to rotate a hand around a clock face (Static Meshes) using buttons inside a widget (Basically the old Resident Evil Clock puzzle where you click on an arrow to rotate the hand around the clock 30 degrees) I'm sure it's too in depth to explain how to do it but, I would be ever so grateful if you were able to point me in the right direction. Thank you again for you videos, I've learned a lot from watching your content, keep up the great work!

    heyy, really nice video.
    i am trying to do a docking system, i have a spaceship and i want to attach and detach a smaller ship to a specific point, any idea how i can do that or maybe you have a tutorial?

    If you enable Prores and Avid codecs via plugins, movie exports will be available in the movie render queue.

    I've downloaded a character from the market place with a bunch of animations. Would be good to see how to put them together in one sequence. (Rather than applying them to a game character)The animation could then be used in a cinematic scene...

    Question have you ever imported an object and key frames it on the sequencer and then try and render it and it didn’t move just stood there ? I’m trying to animate a box moving and when I play it in sequencer and view port it works but when I render it doesn’t move at all in the render it’s been very frustrating I’m not making a Game in doing cinematic ! Do I still have to make a blue print for it ?

    Hi I am unable to get play(sequence Player) on event graph. I am using UE 5.0.3

      this only works if u guys are in the level blueprint the reason its not working on event graph is most likely because its not referencing the sequence animator@@alejorives6231

    The reason you export frames rather than a video file, is because for longer renders, if the software crashes during the render, it doesn't corrupt a whole video file... you can just restart, and start the render again from the last completed frame. So, if your render is a complex scene and 3000 frames, and it crashes on 2999, you just have to start the program again and render the last frame, rather than going back to the start and rerendering the whole thing like you would if you were exporting a video file.

    Is it not possible to save these animations of static meshes as animations to re-use them when desired? It feels a bit overkill you have to create a skeleton and all those things for simple animations.

    i want to make some stars descending into the ground moving across and i want a smooth curve angle to go down how i can smooth my key frames to make a smooth transition

    Hi I'm just wondering if you might be able to animate the landing of japans spacecraft that landed on the moon recently, I've got the data for the last 50m , there are 4 variables x,y,z and time, theres only 22 seconds of data,
    its not alot of data but might be interesting to see how it actually moved during the last 50m.
    Its final position was upside down and thus far no-one has done an animation of it although the data is there to use.

    So my animation works when I press play in PIE. However, it does not do anything when I hit play in the sequencer. My character animations work via sequencer but my animations done on my static mesh done via blueprints do not work in sequencer. Thoughts? Am I doing something wrong or am I misunderstanding how blueprints should work in the sequencer?

    Hello. For some reason, I don't have an arrow in the left corner or a transform submenu when I attached my actor to the sequencer. Do you maybe know why? I can't get past 1:47 without it.

      I have the same issue. I'm trying to animate a Blueprint... I tested by just adding in a normal Static Mesh and the transform controls appear - but not for blueprints. Did you manage to figure this out?

    What if I want to endlessly loop the sequencer, like a collectible object that hovers up and down till picked up by player?

      Yeah same, my animation will only play once in the viewport during game play but will loop continuously in the sequencer. Did you get this sorted out?

    god for sake please dont practice using movie render Legacy !! it doesnt give full control over the export settings ! always use movie render que , export in OpenEXR and stich in After effects any other video editing applications
