I like Dead Lights Central (the passing) because it starts with the L4D1 start style, and then to L4D2, implying that the 2 groups meet.
Not wanting to be rude but it is actually called dead light district

In l4d1 they just put the safe room and ready in l4d2 they didn't do that they just put that soundtrack and they already left it but in cold stream it's different cold stream is the first campaign that changes that part

1:20 2:39 4:03 5:25 6:42 8:16 I don't know why Valve decided to add what sounds like a dot matrix printer into the soundtrack of this game, but I like it.
I also like how the opening for The Passing starts out like the L4D1 campaigns for a second before shifting to its own style. It's a nice little musical nod to the fact that the original survivors are in it.

Im about to point the obvious but... I love how in each soundtrack, the beggining goes really along the campaing theme, creating a unique atmosphere. But then they all fade out to the same high paced melody, which just reminds you of like: "Ok stop contemplating the enviroment, time to kill these zombies". I just love it

@@deniss1917 It instills a sense of hope and hopelessness in the player. You know your so close to finally being done with the infection and fleeing yet you’re so far from that point as you see your final destination looming in the horizon as it beckons you to make the final push.
@@coachacola3755 Basically makes you imagine what happened before the infection began to overrun New Orleans, especially when you see "10 P.M T- MEET HERE- WE GO OVER FENCE-" on the loading screen.
@@coachacola3755 They could've been infected, or they weren't infected, and went over the fence, and into the quarantine zone, and retreated with contamination/a bite then started it from there.
@@DonaldRichterJr If you didn't realize from the countless lying near the opening gate in the intro to the Parish, the military had kill zones to eliminate all possible threats including uninfected civilians. For the "Meet here, we go over the fence" they were probably trying to escape.
If I ever have kids I will make sure he/she will love the left 4 dead franchise!

I like how Parish just feels like Marti grah but the parade is the zombies just shambling through the streets and playing the instruments
Everything about this game is top notch. The little tiny things you can nitpick about, are so miniscule they don't matter that much.

I love that the Passing has L4D1 vibe in it
it helps that most of that campaign heavily uses cheeze organ, strings, Muffle drums, and bass guitar, giving that gritty dive bar "central US" soundfont that the original survivors are from. (pennsylvania/North Carolina)
in contrast, the rest of the L4D2 soundtrack uses more instruments that are familiar to the Deep south, such as the fiddle, the guitar, accordion, the Harmonica, the Snare drum, and the big brass instruments (closer to my home states, Alabama/Georgia, as well as the Jazz music of New orleans)

Someone already noted this but, WOW THE PASSING, its energy immediately gives off left for dead 1 but its louder and less creepy energy gives it that nice left for dead 2 feel.It's basically like the L4D theme is "passing" the torch to the L4D2 theme proper.
I don’t know why but “The Parish” beginning part of the song reminds me of L.A Noire

I don't like how the campaign themes in L4D2 have a unique first half, but then they all eventually crescendo into the exact same second half for every campaign. Compare that to L4D1, every campaign had a unique theme from beginning to end. L4D2's campaign themes are decent but I like L4D1's better, especially Dead Air.
I think L4D2 theme's tell a story, the first half shows the desperation that the survivors have from different locations and different places, the second half shows the aggressiveness of the zombies, and no matter where you go, they will be equally dangerous
