Glove wearing is counter to good hygiene, because it emphasizes protecting the wearer, rather than preventing the spread of germs. They "dumb down" hygenic practice, and IMHO are bad practice for that reason. Just because you're wearing gloves, doesn't mean you're clean.
I always love it when the cook try their soup first. It is a respect for customers so they can eat the proper food. Keep making delicious and affordable food japan :)
I loved how the old man spun the big bottle to create a vortex so that it would come out faster. Also loved how he tasted everything, and then even though I don't speak Japanese, it seems he said "that's very good!".
I loved watching the dedication that goes into preparing these dishes. But it would have been better if we had captions for the ingredients, and finished dishes.
Something about the way that older gentleman eagerly works makes me happy. It must be nice to live somewhere where taking pride in your work and feeling happy about it is normal.

調べたらこちらは大阪、本町にあるきつねうどん発祥の店「うさみ亭マツバヤ」。おじやうどんにはその名のとおりうどんといっしょにご飯も入っているそう。『出汁を吸ったご飯がまた美味しい!』とあります(笑)。大阪には美味しい食べ物屋さんが沢山ありますが、機会があったら是非立ち寄ってみたいお店のひとつですね!
