Changes and improvements are always subjective. Everyone has their opinions and preferences. That it fills all your expectations and needs is what is the most important. Good to see your excitement and satisfaction with what your doing. Hope you have many happy miles on it Bud.
Do you have a video of the Dyno? Also John, just a suggestion. Get a billet shift linkage. The grommets on the stock linkage tend to wear and come loose. No Bueno. Bike is looking great 👍.
I was against mids at first but then I thought do mids and the crash bars like not your daddy. That way you have your mids you want but when your legs get tired you can put them on the crash bar. I’m a tall guy and usually have my feet on the highway pegs all the time even in town. I know not the best place in town lol. Just a thought. Love how it’s thinking outside the box. Thanks for the videos really enjoy them.
Curious how your legs will fit with mids. I'm not a fan of them . cant be comfortable on long rides but looking forward to the fitment and your review.
great video.. great project. looks like it's going to be a nice looking performance bagger. I would have done a 2into1 exhaust with short bags and mid controls, Kraus or Thrashin bars. can't wait to see the finish. good luck!
I love how people are saying you cant have a touring bike without floorboards...LOLZ....its all about riding style. People who tour with adventure bikes, sport touring bikes, there are SO MANY bikes that have always used mid controls with footpegs vice floorboards.....I and so many others have ridden long distance without floorboards....its all in HOW you ride. I wish I could justify getting rid of mine to go back to mid controls...but its hard to do once you have made a significant investment. Control of the bike is 100 times better with mids vice a giant assed floorboard I can guarantee
@@CYCLEFANATIX I don't ride gold wings, so No, I don't know. What I do know is floorboards give you almost endless foot positions and the ability to keep your feet dry when behind leg fairings, Comes in handy after 1000+ Miles in the rain
@@CYCLEFANATIX Harley is not just another bike, and is not meant to feel like (just another bike) Obviously you've never owned and ridden a real Harley. Enjoy your crotch rocket and stay safe .

The controls seem a little forward. Don’t know if I works call the mids. It is coming along nicely though

I have forward controls on my wide glide. Tested a road glide today, didn't care for the floor boards
Hell yeah, get rid of them, mid controls all the way

Anyone know where big guy has been?
in my opinion, a nightmare. But hey John. it's yours. And I will continue to follow you
What fog light is that on the engine guard? I’m interested in buying same type. I looked in the description. Are those also made by Ciro?
Are you going to bikes and breakfast next Sunday????
I love where your going with this bike, keeps getting better, cant wait to see it done and you putting some miles on !
long distance riding with no floorboards? no highway pegs? Cmon man...

Those are forward controls not mid controls. Mid controls are further back
Mid-controls? ….I can’t understand why you want to ride with your feet and knees in this position?
Comfort is different for everyone
