- In this month's film we catch up with Greg and his Fireball T, an early style build packing a rowdy Model A four banger ready to rattle its way round dirt tracks and drag strips!
I couldn't make these vids without the help of my mates at www.panhead.co.nz and www.classiccover.co.nz. Thanks team!
Please do your thing...like, subscribe, share and comment for lots more to come!

Really enjoyed this video...no smoke & mirrors, just a straight forward explanation of what you did and how you did it!
Bravo !
ya brah nice mill traditional build we can't forget where all hop up rods came from really cool T
True words. I have an old 27 chev & and yeah, it is what it is, but you have to drive it. It's not something you jump in and treat like a civic! Love the model t, very cool car
One of the coolest I've ever seen
Excellent! The same basic philosophy I tried stick to when I built my T speedster. I always ask myself, "what would a kid in the 20s with no money do" After seeing your hotrod I realize there is a lot I can do yet. She's a beauty! Cheers from the US
I like this way of thinking I spent today building up a gearbox shifter gates to take out the slop
And changing the length of the shifting arms to create a short shifter
Easily the best T build on the internet. Definitely going to build one like it some day. Great build!
What a great car! I’m sure driving it is an adventure every time.
Beautiful! I believe Isky would be proud of you!
Fantastic. One of my favourite model Ts! What a great video
Yes, it was a great video
Thats a beauty.
We used to run a Model A sprint car on UK circuits, you can get them moving!
T the original hot rod 👍🏻
I love seeing Greg’s car in excellent film. I’ve talked with him many times about model t fords, from the opposite side of the planet. My car is coming closer to being done and this is definitely inspiring to keep moving towards the finish line!
I always wanted to build a T-bucket with a 2.3 OHC ford or a 2.2 turbo Shelby. I've built lots of custom cars and trucks but never got the chance yet to build my dream bucket. Most of my builds were for my friends or are purpose built machinery for my business. Hopefully when I can hand the reigns over to my son I can fulfill my dream
Simply sweet. Good job.
Great story 💯
I totally dig it!! I've built 2 model a Ford hoop cars ,and I love early hot rod/ circle track racing!! Congrats on an awesome build, and an amazing video
So Rad!!!
You must be a happy man.
Super hot rods, a fantastic landscape and authorities that don't restrict you unnecessarily in everything.
I am happy for you. Enjoy and be thankful. 👍🤘😎
That's a really slick old car.
Love it!
man that T is sweeeeet!
From a fellow rodder-bravo Mate. Well done 👍
Great vid, really enjoyed hearing what Greg had to say. 🍻
That sound!!!! 😍
I've got a '29 Model A speedster in the form of a 1940's hot rod theme with hydraulic brakes and a 1939 transmission with a Mitchel overdrive. It's a blast to drive and I would not change a thing.
Beautiful time machine, mate!
Excellent film and comments throughout.
That's an absolute ripper hats off to you and your dad!!
So rad. Actually like the sound of that thing too. So unique.
Love that T!!!
Just amazing, I'm currently building a 26 RPU with a 8BA to Laselle or 39 trans to banjo. So glad I'm not the only guy out there doing this. Love the content. =)
GREAT VIDEOS
Thanks for watching! 🙌
So excellent
Awesome buddy
Brilliant 👍👍
Such a cool build!
heck yeah ! ! thanks for the video nice hot rod !
Epic T!! Done right mate. Good words of advice as well.
✌️Love from Texas✌️
From "Up Over". I remember seeing these as a lad of 8-9, in the late '50's. My father took me to a race event in the California desert (sand not the treat). By the time I got into cars, hot rods sported big tires, newer frames, and V-8's. Great job. Narragansett Bay
Man I would love to have a ride in that, what a beautiful job.
Shout out from Englewood, Colorado. 1931 Ford Coupe.
Sweet!
Just right!
cant go wrong with a model T or A
Where it all came from that's Cool as, thanks for sharing that
Awesome video on an awesome build! I've always wanted to build an Old School Kool model T with a Banger & your Fireball T is a perfect example of what's in my mind. Thank you for sharing the story of your build & for now I will have to be happy with my 48 Ford F1.
I've always wanted to build a bucket like this but just don't have the time. Guess I'll just be happy with my 67 belvedere, 77 econoline, or my 79 Ram flatbed
Killer gow job!!!
Y’all get out there and build somethin’ HRD
Must of watched this like 100000 times.lol
I love it the car
I play with early Holdens FX- hq and I get the same thing people who say ls it or put a modern front end and big brakes under it it will drive like a modern car
If I wanted a modern car I would have bought one
YES,YES,YES , GO OLD I LOVE 10 OUT OF 10 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
It sounds a lot like Grandpa's ol' 9N tractor (to ME, anyways,). And, it's an international video, but OF COURSE that tin came out of Sac-town, 1.5 hours away from me. (sigh,)
Mine did too,and it is coming along nicely ,but it lives in Scotland
Purfect for me at 74 .
I like the way it jiggles when it runs over bumps. Maybe be why they called them "flivvers"
I have a '25 Roadster/Runabout that I want to do up like this, but use a Pinto engine in it, instead of the Model A motor. Most hot rodders say to ditch the Model T frame for the A frame and proclaim I will get the steering pushed through my body in a wreck if I use the stock Model T steering column. They scream about the flex to the T frame as an issue. I want to keep the fenders and running boards on mine, as it makes it easier for me to get into the thing with my rheumatoid arthritis, as well as easier on my wife to ride with me in it. I am not really looking for speed, but just a fun car to enjoy when I wish. Do you have any photos of the actual frontend build or what you did with the rear end? I am totally new to the Model T world but have owned many a daily driver Model A in my past. Thanks for the video. I had never heard the term Gow Job, before and have since joined a facebook group on such. Nice car and nice build. Thanks. ;-)
LOVE IT,my A Coupe came out of Sacramento also - now 32 4 banger with the same manifolds as yours, check out progress on Jimshotrod.
