This was quite a fun episode to make! I actually knew very little about Ed Winfield, and his speed equipment prior to making this episode!

Was around some of these early hot rod mods in the 60’s. Rajo and Frontinac were early T head designs for performance also adapting a Model A Crankshaft to the T block was popular. One of these built by Christen J Reimuller Won the Shell Hill Climb.

Did your research turn up any convincing evidence regarding whether the red heads shipped from the factory with the Winfield branding painted a different color? I've seen repainted units with the name painted yellow, white, and unpainted (red like the rest of the head). I haven't seen any copies that are clearly the original paint.

4 bangers are fun ,but expensive ! just stick an 8BA in like everyone else....................nope I plan to get my 4 banger to over 80mph onPendine Sands in my coupe
