Congrats of finally getting the Texas toast sponsorship! Everything looks outstanding, thanks for the video.
Thanks Dale! It was super nice of them to sponsor this video and give me the bread.
Johnny's discernment in selecting Aunt Millie's Texas Toast for the griddle underscores his appreciation for its exceptional quality. The toast's substantial thickness and luscious buttery texture make it an ideal contender for griddling. Its ability to achieve that perfect balance of a crispy exterior while maintaining a soft, buttery inside is unmatched. This choice not only reflects Johnny's culinary expertise but also emphasizes his attention to detail and commitment to crafting an extraordinary dining experience with all of Aunt Millie’s Bakeries products.
Thank you my friend! Couldn't have said it better myself.
I like th all, but my favorite is the fried bologna burger, MMM, mmm good.
“A lovely cheese pizza, just for me!” Home Alone 😊
Nailed it!
he got his own cheese pizza just like in home alone! Yesss!
Lol glad you got it!
I love the way your son picked up the cheese to show the camera just like dad was doing! Love your wit on every video.
Haha I know I'm worried he's been watching me too much. Thanks so much
@@JohnnyBrunetis he a subscriber? Haha😂
@@gobybike99 🤣🤣🤣
We just tried that syrup and it is at least three times better I thought
It is very good isn't it.
You were on top of your game with this one. "Steal a Snack Pac from a toddler!" Love it. Keep up the good work and thank you.
Thanks so much Eric!!!
Congrats on the sponsorship. Great cooks Johnny! Outta beer? 🤔
Thanks so much Todd!! Oh no I gotta plenty of beer it just didn't make it on camera this time lol.
I don't know how you did it, but you got sponsored by Texas Toast!. Congratulations!
Dreams do come true!
Congratulations on your Tx toast sponsorship!
Thanks Leo!
WOW! Congratulations on getting that Texas Toast Sponsorship! Aunt Millie's will be the only bread products going on my griddle from now on! Hopefully the creativity holds - I'm now expecting great things from the griddle!
For sure! Aunt Millie's for the win!
Thanks so much guys!!! And yes the creativity will definitely stay I'm not changing anything. I appreciate you watching.

Congratulations on the sponsor!!! You definitely deserve it.
Thank you.

Thanks man, ya I feel super lucky that they reached out. It feels like the perfect sponsorship.
I love watching your videos because you always make me chuckle. Your son is adorable. I am a big Spider-Man fan too. lol congrats on the Aunt Millie’s sponsor. Yay Texas toast.
Thanks Lisa! He gets his looks from his mother but he'll learn to cook from me. 🤣
@@JohnnyBrunet 😂
My wife and I were bummed out recently when the Aunt Millie's thrift store near us closed down. Congratulations on the sponsorship and I can't wait to try these
I didn't know they had aunt Millie's thrift store. That sounds awesome, I'm assuming it was just day old bread at a discounted price. I'd be all about that.
We are now going to make it a quest to find Aunt Millie’s out here in Southern California ❤
Thanks John!
Aunt Millie just picked up a new customer - me!
Good stuff there Johnny. Love the bologna one. One of my all-time favorites. GRIDDLE ON DUDE.
Thanks Bruno! Can't go wrong with a fried bologna sandwich.
Congratulations I'm very happy for you. They must see how much you help us,and how fun you are.
Thank you so much.
Wow your boy is getting so big what fun you are going to have with him have a great Christmas.
Thanks, and yes we're having a lot of fun. We just cut down a tree this past weekend.
Everything looks awesome. And fried bologna sandwich tske me back to my childhood. And wow mayo is good with everything
YAY Johnny congrats on the Texas Toast sponsorship! Did I notice matching PJ bottoms? Little man may have a future channel the way he was showing us that bag of cheese. Have A Day! ;~)
Ya we had matching bottoms thanks to Grandma.,and yes he's a natural in camera lol.
I've been eyeballing TEXAS TOAST for months, but never bought because IDK what to do w/ it besides french toast. It is WAY too much bread to use on fancy cheese grilled sammiches (i use Ciabata for that). I basically refuse to pay $4 for a 28oz loaf of bread that will mold after I use 4 slices (i don't have fridge space)! However, you've given me HOPE + ideas! Rock on JB!
Thanks buddy glad I could inspire you. Definitely give it a try.
Home Alone 2 - Also I cracked up with the just like mom use to make "fresh" out of a jar.
Boom nailed it Joey!
👍👍never go wrong with texas toast, and Arby's never made anything that looked that GOOD... way to go johnny.......😄😃😀
Thanks buddy!
Great work! Love the sponsor! I'll be on the look out for that brand!
That ks so much! Definitely give them a try.
Wow
More fantastic ideas. Thanks
Being a born-and-raised Texan I grew up on Texas Toast. We used it a lot.
Now if I could only get my hands on some of those Johnny's seasonings life would be great.
Johnny's gotta support Johnny's.
Hey sir i will now will be looking for Aunt Millies bread. Glad you got a sponser. Happy Holidays Brother!
Thanks so much, definitely check out there products. Happy Holidays to you too.
Welcome back! Nice cook. Love the interaction between you and with your son.
Thanks my friend. Sorry for the delay in videos.
Home for the holidays, you need to add spam to the menu, love the Beatles shirt. I have the same one.
Thanks Eric!
I wondered where you were, I hoped you were just busy with the holiday season!!
Yup, just got busy with the holidays! Thanks for watching.
Quality Home Alone reference
Thanks buddy.
Your boy needs co-star recognition 😂
Don't worry he gets plenty of royalties 😁😁😁
can hardly wait to try the t.t. pizza
Amazing! This video hit the spot. BTW, congratulations! Even though your Buckeyes took out our Spartans in football, we were sorry they came up short in Ann Arbor. 😊
Thanks Liz! Ya I wish we would have beat those cheaters but what are you gonna do. Thanks for always watching.
Good video Johnny ! In the summer time I do this for my daughter an grandkids on Sunday mornings I make a whole loaf of Texas toast on my Blackstone griddle at one time ,, o yea where have you been my friend ? PS. Can't do this outside in montana till next spring . THANK YOU FRANK FROM MONTANA.....
Here in Wisconsin, I just put it in the garage and cook there.
Hey Frank! Ya making a whole loaf is definitely the way to go, it's just so easy on the griddle. Sorry I've been busy with the family for the holidays but I should be back at it now. I hope you're staying warm out there my friend.
@@JohnnyBrunet yes Johnny its been unbelievably warm out here today Wednesday it was 62 degrees , I don't need to fire up the wood stove yet. THANK you for your response....Frank
@@frankmarullo228 enjoy that weather why you can my friend.
Congrats on the bread sponsor!
Thanks Matt!
Another great video. Thanks! And yes Aunt Millie's products are great!
Thanks Kelvin.
Are the bonus points still available? Home Alone 2 Lost in New York 😂
I also found a funny reference of Mr. McAllister not getting any cheese pizza from Home Alone. I’m going to have to revisit these movies! Thanks for the great griddle videos and great movie references!!😁
There's always bonus points! It's definitely worth a watch this time a year. I appreciate you watching my videos brother.
French toast sandwich with sausage and egg and cheese is also good.
That sounds amazing!
Definitely going to try some of these maybe this weekend! do you have any tips for estimating how much propane you have? This last weekend I ran out like a rookie and had to finish on my stove...
Well my first Dad tip is always have two tanks. After that the best way to know is weight. And empty tank was about 20lbd a full one 40lbs.
Great sandwich ideas. Simple meals for the work week. Thanks. Congrats on sponsorship. Keep um coming.
Thank you so much my friend.
Johnny your sense of humor cracks me up😝
Btw- Home Alone- duh 😎
Thanks Hooch! And you nailed it buddy.
Great recipe samples. Is the pizza doable on the grill with a cover? Or just better in the oven?
I'm sure it would work on the grill the bottoms might burn before the cheese melts. Still maybe worth a shot.
It all looks great, but I got to make Texas toast pizza real soon.
Thanks Guy!
Congratulations
Thanks!
What more could you ask for in a video? Wait! Don’t answer that. It is a family channel. :-)
Loved the entire video, including your jokes that made me laugh.
Your boy is a smart young man with his vocabulary.Talking to him as an adult certainly pays off,
Happy holidays, Johnny and family.
Finally made me some smash burgers on my griddle insert, and they were delicious. The press/weight was sure better than using my old spatula without the handle, and I get why you use some parchment paper between the burger press and burgers. Maybe next time. ;-)
🤣🤣🤣. Glad your griddle insert is working out and it sounds like you had some great smash burgers. I've done them with just the spatula as well and yes I think I like the parchment paper better. Happy holidays to you and yours as well my friend.
A few minutes more under the broiler and you would have had the perfect cup-n-char pepperoni. Well done Johnny.
I know I was so close to the pepperoni cup! Next time.
"hotdog shaped like pancake." Hilarious.
😁😁😁
@ 10:25 Home Alone. Pizzas looked good.
Nailed it!! And thanks.
Definitely spring for the real maple syrup. I’m no food snob, but the cheap pancake syrup is literally high fructose corn syrup mixed with a whole bunch of chemical preservatives you can’t even pronounce. It may be more expensive, but your intestines will thank you.
Ya I agree its gotta be better for you than that crap. I think it was just sticker shock for me but if you add in the health aspect it's worth it.
I like to use garlic Texas toast for buns when i make cudighi!
And of course banana/strawberry stuffed French toast for the kiddos.
The French toast sounds good. What's cudighi?
You need to have your people put out some feelers for a beer sponsorship deal now. 😁You might enjoy making a club sandwich with your Texas toast. I make them like you made the BLT, but I use three slices of bread and add ham and turkey too. I go all new lottery winner crazy and get the ham and turkey sliced to order from the deli and heat it up in a pan to get a little bit of Maillard effect going on. Finally, I put four long toothpicks with the fancy multi-color plastic tops in it and slice it in quarters diagonally. It looks like it came straight from my local neighborhood greasy spoon where I ate this creation first. It’s really good served with some high quality fries. If you want to make the triple bread slice version like I do, you’ll probably have to order the toothpicks online, I can give you guidance on that if you need it so you get the right ones. If you want to make a double bread slice version, the grocery store fancy toothpicks should be fine, probably.
That sounds fantastic! And yes I would love a beer sponsor, they wouldn't even need to pay me I'd do it just for free beer lol. Do you grill your bread in the pan or toast it? Also I totally agree about the sliced meat to order. I can't afford it all the time but man it is so much better. Thanks for the recommendation my friend.
@@JohnnyBrunet I use an old fashioned stand alone bread toaster because that’s how the greasy spoon where I had the sandwich first does it. By the way, the triple bread version is the way to go. It’s not as big as it sounds because you push down on the bread a little and everything gets compressed. Final, I only use two slices of turkey and two slices of ham per sandwich, so the deli meat isn’t too expensive. The turkey is a normal slice and the ham is a little thicker. You don’t need much with everything else in the sandwich.
@@Lettuce-and-Tomatoes that sounds great. Makes since to just do one slice per level. I bet it presents very well too.
00:16 - BEST QUOTE EVAAAR!!!! One pound of bacon a day...
😁😁😁😁
i make the fried agg samwich for my grandson lol
Your a re great grandpa Scotty.
French toast hint, if you can toast them before you dip them in the mixture they turn out better.
Oh cool, I'll give that a try.
Love Texas Toast. On the BLT & the Avocado Toast. The BLT I always add a Fried Egg, Jalapeños if I'm feeling frisky. 😅 The Avocado Toast I make an ABLT plus a Fried Egg. As you can see. I'm not worried about my Cholesterol. 😅 Also, I was at a Burger Restaurant, Red Robin & had a Fried Egg on my Burger. Not a fan. The flavors didn't really mesh for me. It only had Mayo on it. Not sure if I add more condiments to it, it might make a difference. But I won't waste my money on another one. Strange thing was my wife loved it. That was Twilight Zone stuff. 😮😂😅 Great Vid My Friend. As Usual. Be Blessed. Shawn 😊
P.s. I send you an email with some questions. Just curious if you got it. 🤔 😅😊
Hey Shawn, that sounds awesome to add an egg and some jalapeno to a BLT. I'm kind of in the middle on the egg on a burger as well. I e done it a few times and didn't mind it, but I don't think I would go out of my way to do it again. I did not see your email I apologize I will go look for it again. Did you send it to griddlewithjohnny@gmail.com
@@JohnnyBrunet I sent it from the News Letter Email.
@@shawnmcdonnell1779 I just replied back to you my friend. I'm so sorry I missed that.
Home Alone! It's from Home Alone! Lol
🤣🤣🤣 you won the trivia Matt, nice!
since its almost Christmas i say home alone 1 and 2
You are correct.
Don't get me started about Curling. It used to be fun to watch with them slappy brooms. Then they changed to them scrubber brooms. It used to look like a tweeker freaking out over invisible spiders. Now it looks like Alice cleaning up at 2am after a Greg went to his first kegger.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love bacon, especially after a surgeon told me the "being fat saved my life" after I had a bad experience on a ATV.
The quote is from Home Alone.
Nailed it!
Love video n son
Thanks!
That a home alone reference to the cheese pizza?
Yes sir!!!
Pizza alternative to Texas Toast, frozen Garlic Texas Toast!
That sounds fantastic.
I love to make a version of Tony’s steak sandwich on the griddle. Texas toast (aunt millies) of course, smash burger, mozzarella cheese, and spaghetti sauce. Johnny might delete this but I have a video my channel.
Thanks if you don’t delete it Johnny. In my video my burgers were smoked and we used frozen garlic toast. But you’ll get the idea. Thank you
I won't delete it I don't mind you sharing buddy. Put a link to the video in the comments so other people can watch. That sounds like an amazing sandwich!
@@JohnnyBrunet thanks man!!!!🍻🍻🍻 I’ll add a link. Remember I only have 57 subs so I’m very new at this lol
@@JohnnyBrunet link added check it out. Like I said I’m way new to this stuff lol. But I did remember a beer lol
@@Merica_dadgarage the beer is the most important part! And nothing wrong with 57 subs that's great. It's not about the subs, it's just a fun way to share stuff you do with other people. I love it. I'll check out your video.
@@JohnnyBrunet Thanks man. Just a few hours north of you in Michigan up in the thumb area of MI.
Dr. Pepper is BBQ Sprite.
🤣🤣🤣
Try cutting your bacon in half, I do that and mine never curls and it makes it look like you have more bacon
I'm all about more bacon!!!!
@JohnnyBrunet congrats on getting your Texas toast sponsorship, I commented before the video was over lol
Your oven is way too clean. This makes your whole shtick seem more authentic. Good work.
Hold on! You claim to like beer, but NOT curling, the only sport that includes beer as an integral part of the competition.... Although possibly not under the Olympic rules.
Possibly 😉😁😁😁
Great line by Kevin McAllister bro!
Congrats on that Texas toast deal. You just have to ask, I have several sponsors on my Instagram account just by asking. Keep up the great work, I look forward to your videos each week.
Thanks Curtis! I think I checked it out before but what's your Instagram?
