Story 2... that doesn't sound like a life worth living. Over 30 years of looking over your shoulder... checking her phone... panicking when she's with dying family members and you can't be there... obsessing over the cheating, and she still won't be honest about it... Me... I would have rather found someone i could trust to spend my life with. Hell, I'd have rather been alone than the warden of a prison.
OP has my same family. nobody tells me anything, nobody remembers past events, and everything is my fault somehow. I am happy to be combative about every small detail just because I know they hate it
S2: "Some of you have issues". Dude, you spent the last couple of decades being paranoid and controlling of your wife. That's a really sad life to live.
@@l-l-l-l-l-l-l Honestly I wouldn't call him a Simp, a Simp at least has some love for the object of his obsession, this guy just treats her like a possession he doesn't even Like but doesn't want to lose.
He hasn't been happy in decades & he doesn't even know it. Him staying is whatever, but basically he slept with her friend & then never actually did anything to get over it, just make sure it didn't happen again. Now she's gone, & he's freaking out decades later. He's a coward, he doesn't actually give a shit about her. He just doesn't want to be alone & it was obvious from before the update.
Yeah he should have left her and moved on with his life. He was too scared of it happening again with someone else or he was afraid no one else would date him.
Story 2 OP tried his best to make himself look like a no-nonsense badass in his story, and still failed spectacularly. Bro wasted 30+ years harboring bitterness and a near-constant fear that he was her second choice.
I've come to the conclusion its out of fear. Some folks are too invested that they will use whatever logic or reasoning to justify staying with someone who hurt them. Everything was "fine" before they knew, just even the playing field and everything will go back. Nowhere healthy response but I half get it
Story 2: I don’t think anyone is happy. Some relationships can survive cheating (though I disagree that a relationship can be “stronger” afterward). I’m not advocating for it, just saying that some can. This relationship has NOT survived the cheating. OP took her back, and it sounds like she has done everything in her power to show OP she is truly remorseful and has changed. And while I don’t condone her actions, she was only 17. And OP still gets mad about this at 55. This ain’t healthy for anyone involved.
I've stopped questioning reality. I question other realities when they become problematic. Seethrough werewolf like shape darts across road, in full view of bright headlights. "Did... Did you-" "Yep." "What did that look like to you?" "Upright werewolfy type thingy." "Yep." We look at eachother, both sigh, because the dang thing is following us. Then it ate my damn chickens. I really liked those chickens. It was an ass. Anyway, shit like that happens way too often. We confirm it with eachother every time we both see something. Not always in the car either. Often times it's the giant doe hat glitches weirdly and sometimes has too many eyes/legs. That's Jimmy. Jimmy's cool. Jimmy is also the size of a large buck. We warn people about her so they don't get freaked out. Jimmy recently had three babies. THe babies are also glitchy and are MUCH worse at cloaking. Also, they just kinda appeared out of nowhere as adult deer. But tiny. They know they have a safe place on our property, so they come and hang every once in a while. Jimmy and her babies were out when the werewolf shadow thing was here thankfully. I don't mind them getting into scuffles with small things, but I didn't want the baby bagels to get hurt. *jimmy and her children also like eating coyotes on occasion.*
Story 1: Sooo…mom wants OP to be closer to home, and to accomplish that…she plans this mass exclusion and gaslighting plot?? Narcissists seriously have a type of logic that is straight-up *_alien._*

yeah he needs psychological help
I don't know why anyone would stay after infidelity. It's pathetic.
@@Vic-pg4rgI dunno. Of course it's illogical, but that's easy to say when feelings are not involved .

W first husband and showing support
People that stay after cheating need to grow some balls

Story 2 is just sad and just equally bad for each other
I hope you find peace and healing in this difficult journey ahead. You deserve to be treated with love and respect.

Story 2 is just weird and sad from every angle you look at it. OP loves to complicate his life and make himself suffer.

Biggest mistake OP made was putting a ring on a floozy and staying with her. OP loves a salty life, I guess.
