He's ended up in the hospital due to the stress (among other related reasons) caused by divorce, leading to the panic attack. A divorce which was caused by the affair, meaning that Jane is a significant cause of his being there. As a nurse, her job is to care for her patient first, not poke her nose where it doesn't belong. By treating him like that and letting a significant source of stress stay with him, she's only harming his condition. A proper nurse would ask Jane to leave. Yes, she may have helped while in the hospital, but that was cold comfort when she effectively put him there. I hope OP's life is going great now (I haven't finished the video before typing this). Especially considering that a divorce is a severe source of stress even under relatively normal circumstances.

I get wanting to stick up for them. Nurses are saints for putting up with the things they're forced to deal with, physically and emotionally, and deserve respect.
