Today I’m taking one of the worlds most luxurious First Class cruises, for 5 days to the Caribbean. Join me in the very best suite onboard, dubbed the Mega Rockstar Massive Suite.
As always I’ll give you a comprehensive review of the experience, from the food on offer, the onboard facilities such as the luxurious spa, the pools & our private hot tub. My aim is to see if this really is the luxury cruise line which it’s been touted as, and if this is a true luxurious experience. I’d also like to benchmark this against other experiences, such as the Orient Express, Rovos Rail or even Queen Mary 2 trips which I’ve taken over the last few months.
I already expect this to be a more informal approach to luxury, but will the best suite onboard live up to expectations. Oh and talking of our suite, this features, a bedroom, living room, Italian marble bathroom, music studio and the largest balcony / terrace you’ve seen at sea. This really is like a floating 5* hotel.

When you get a 5 day first class cruise like this for 15k it's really put it into perspective how big of a robbery first class plane tickets are asking for 8-12k....

Maybe because of numbers of passengers,
They operate at different bussines model. First class cabin Airline operate as transport from point A to B with luxury. Cruise ship operate as floating hotel with tons of onboard services while moving its guest from a to b or any custom point.
Also number of pax are very important to bring down ticket price. How many people travel in a first class airline on a given route? Most people buy bussines class or economy luxury if avaiable.

@@IsraelistheJewsland Yea unless you are very heavy eating and drinking constantly the entire trip and having parties in your huge suite then it hardly seems worth it.
Trust me its not luxury. As cruise lines go VV is pretty standard other than the fact all speciality dining is included. I have been on Valiant and it was great, but its not luxury even if you go rock star or mega rock star. The luxury and ultra luxury lines are 4 or 5 times the price of VV at a minimum.

They are her know nothing about ships of any kind or even know what cruising is supposed to be. A butler he says doe he even know what a butler is the cruise lines do not they call them but;er but never had any training.

i gawked a little as a poor person at the price, but honestly 3,000ish dollars a day for a private suite with your own balcony, and inclusive food and drinks for 5 days really isn't that bad, especially when you split it with another person. looked like you two had a great time!
They do offer longer itineraries up to 15 days and the cost per night, even in this suite which sleeps 4, is a lot easier to swallow! Approx $640 per night in this suite per person, even for the 15 day Australian New Years sailing.
For me it’s not so much a question of whether it’s value for money or not, it’s more whether it feels justified ethically to spend this much on a boat ride and all the slightly naff luxury that goes along with it. I know it’s a bit bleeding heart, but there’s so much unbridled poverty in the world at the moment that this sort of thing seems almost evil. He says as he sits and types in his £150 jumper.

Love her channel… unfortunately and sadly, Eva & Vilk are stepping down from TH-cam for a unknown period of time… I think the writing was on the wall over the Christmas period, when she went a little quiet.

If you’re thinking about doing another luxury train journey, I would highly recommend the Northern Belle. They offer a variety of either day trips or Afternoon Tea/Sunday Roast services in a 1920s style interior.
As stated previously it seems only a short while ago that you were at a couple of hundred thousand subscribers, and now 600k later and ultra passing some of your well respected peers, well done, and for sure the quality of your content has improved immeasurably and diversifying into luxury train trips, cruise ships etc, is a great tactic to expand your subscriber base, oh and bravo for pronouncing “Moët” & Chandon the correct way…luckily as someone who has had the good fortune over the years to travel and appreciate the finer things in life, some of your videos resonate well with me, keep up the good work and much continued success and for sure that’s it’s a mere question of time before you hit the magical one million followers

Very very cool experience! We're heading on our first Virgin Voyager this yea rand it was great to get an insight onto the ship! The thing we love is that they've included so many things that usually cost 'extra'. We're so excited!!!

Enjoy your channel, particularly the train journeys. I’ve spent the past 17 years working as a contractor on cruise ships, with around 20/25 trips per year. Would recommend Silversea and Viking to try. Alaska, with Hubbard Glacier and Antarctica.

I’ve stayed in the solo inside cabin for less than $200 a night and you get the same food and see the same shows. I can’t imagine the mega suite being worth it unless you really wanted to host something with all that space.

I LOVE cruising! I've only been on Carnival cruise lines so far, but, I might have to check out Virgin now! I really love seeing you do cruise ships, as I see it as a more accessible vacation for folks like me who don't have a ton of money. Obviously not able to stay in a suite, but, the all inclusive nature with a regular cabin is much more doable. Thanks for sharing with us and WE LOVE MILLIE!

I love your videos. In this case it makes me realize that a cruise, even in the best suite is not for me. I am surprised the butler didn’t let you know to wear red for the party. It was over the top, but I guess I would rather spend a month in Italy
