    It's so good to see content from The Sims 2, the best in the franchise

      @@SpringSims1 Too bad EA remove The Sims 2 from the catalog, the company could make a lot of money with The Sims 2. I believe The Sims 2 is a big threat to The Sims 4 that visually is beautiful but the game content is very shallow and artificial

      Thank you so much Kar Kar :) I never thought of putting stuff like the cat outside until I saw so many stray just walk past all of time. Glad you like the rooftop I was so close to putting a hot tub but it wouldnt work hehe

      Thank you, I thought it would make it more personal if I did that. I want to try that in sims 4

    It looks nice, but here are some suggestions.
    From a realism standpoint, if you're going to put a radiator into a building, you need to put one in every room, including hallways, as well as all bathrooms that have a tub or shower. Radiators represent a type of steam heating that is used throughout a building, not just a single room. Very large rooms should have two radiators, one each on opposite sides of the room, roughly. Radiators are typically found in buildings located in temperate or colder climates (four seasons, or colder), not so much in desert climates.
    If your house has radiators, it would NOT also have floor or wall registers, because those represent a different kind of heating system - forced air. It's one or the other, either radiators or registers, NEVER both in the same building, and all rooms should have at least one of the chosen heating type.
    Forced air cooling and heating is more common in newer houses, especially in warmer climates, ie, deserts, and you can use both floor and wall registers interchangeably in the same building. The floor registers are always alongside walls and never in the middle of a room. You're going to have to use the moveobjects cheat to place things near or over floor registers - and that's the main reason I never use them.
    Air ducts are typically used in conjunction with wall and/or floor registers, although they are not necessary since it can be assumed that air ducts for the registers are buried in the walls and floors. I rarely use them because they irritatingly obstruct the view when playing.
    I know the game has these things in the various decorative bins, but that's probably only because the game doesn't have functioning heating, cooling or plumbing systems and Maxis had no better place to put them.
    I know these things don't make a difference in actual game play, but there you go, just some FYI's for increased realism.

    My game doesn't allow me to built balconies

    • @SpringSims1
      @SpringSims1  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need to have support before building balconies. Try adding columns under where you want the balconies then add your flooring of your choice. Sims 2 requires more effort

    Is it just me or Sims 2 Apartment Life has more types of air vents than that kit?

      You're not the only one. Sims 2 had more customization when it came to objects. Sims 2 top tier
