One of the most intelligent people in football today. I really do hope he'll go into coaching when he's done playing, I think he can become a top coach pretty fast.
Here in Iraq, we look at Bielsa and what he is doing with Leeds with respect since his arrival. Although I support Chelsea FC, I follow Leeds matches with great passion Leeds has been affected a lot this season by the absence of Bamford, I hope he comes back soon and I hope to bring him a match at Elan Road
@@maxine2798 It makes sense doesn't it! He's smart, intelligent and super likeable and is learning from one of the best in the business. In time he could be like Klopp with young players who want to be loved and in return are willing without question to run through walls.
I've been a fan of Patrick since his Chelsea days when you could see there was definite potential of him being a top player. Such a genuinely nice person and it's great to see him finally getting the recognition he deserves, especially playing for the most exciting club in the premier league. Can't wait to see him back,I just hope it's not too much longer. MOT. ALAW.
Watching this for the first time and really have to say Bamford is my fave player. We need more footballers like this, no arrogance, just a down to earth and articulate individual. #MOT
When he managed Chile, he routinely played with his 10 (Valdivia) as a winger, his winger (Alexis) as a striker, and his left-back (Beausejour) as a 10. Guy's a god damn mad scientist of a coach.
I love how he's reflecting his thoughts before giving an answer instead of reciting trivial, empty phrases, as most professional players do in the Top 5 European Leagues. He does not seem posh or even arrogant to me, he's just a smart, polite, decent lad. I'd almost say he's my favourite contemporary player in English football right now. All the best for Leeds Utd this season, it's a club that should definitely be part of the Premiership. Even though I'm a bit sad than Marcelo Bielsa had to go. Greetings from Germany from an admirer of English football (or British football in general, Scotland has got some impressive clubs and lovely stadiums as well...and there are clubs such as Swansea City and Wrexham in Wales or Linfield FC in Northern Ireland)
You’ve also described his low scoring early on this season, not enough runs near post and going to the back post too much. I hope he comes back with the Killer instinct
Patrick is a Top Gentleman he Embodies Side Before Self Everytime, unselfish player we miss him so much there's nobody can do what, Patrick does we need you Back Patrick as soon as possible top,top man Patrick. Mr Bielsia has worked his magic for Leeds United transformed this famous club. Mr Bielsia shows what hard work gets when you have someone like Patrick in your team how to transform a player love you brother 👏 always Leeds in your soul first class 🤍💛💙👏🙏 keep fighting side before self everytime 👏🙏🤍💛💙🦚✊🏐👊🏟️😍
@@tonylowe4668 we've never played villa in the playoffs it was a home game that meant nothing on the table that's when Bielsa gave them the goal Bamford is no cheat players like neymar are 10 times worse rolling all over, Patrick has learnt from the el ghazi incident and will never repeat it again
I have hated Leeds for 50 years and hated 4 Leeds players for that incident against Villa. The Guy who feigned to kick it out, the Guy who "scored". the guy who tried to stop the goal on the re-start and Bamford for a horrendous weak dive which was embarrassing HOWEVER he has come back a better person and he is extremely good for the game with his intelligence and articulacy..
Marcelo is analytical coach, but he is a good coach to enhance young players and clubs. Under his leadership England and her clubs including novice players have good chance to become great players. I see Bamford moving to Real Madrid or Borussia Dortmund for enhancing his skills and football knowledge.
What is this language of which Patrick speaks? Where is "I am over the moon" and "it's all about the 3 points?" Disappointing.........I bet he doesn't even "set out his stall" once in a while...
Bamford isn't doing a lot to prove Sean Dyche wrong is he, he plays like someone who was born with a silver spoon, even the way he runs looks like he's never done a days work in his life
He’s literally one of the hardest working players in the team with tracking back, linking play and creating. Im not even his biggest fan but youre talking shite

You are optimistic about Patrick, so also must like him too...?!!!!! Good for you. Support our players,, devoted Leeds united supporter.....
Pat is really smart and the whole team know it😂❤️
He has an upper class education. Whereas most English players can barely speak English. Too focused on their stupid tattoos.
One of the most injury prone people in football today. The modern day Darren Anderton.
A top guy, we need Patrick back soon. Also, a very good interview , Well done Joe.
Good? "Describe him in 3 words" is like a question a child would ask ffs

Always liked this lad, now i know why. He is very well spoken and looks down to earth. Wishing him every success at Leeds. From a Liverpool fan 👏
No Man Utd fan would say this. Respect is due.

Bielsa sees things in players that they might not even see in themselves. And that's how he makes the best out of them.
Look at kp. "You are no4"...no im an 8..."no. You are no4"

Nice comment and thankyou for taking the trouble to do so
Nice comment.
Bamford such a nice guy, can't wait for him to be back scoring
We miss u Pat
Without Bamford, Leeds are without a striker who will make a good near post run. We need him back! MOT

Paddy I also love you like my own son. Come back stronger and keep up the good work, we will need you.
As a Leeds fan. Bielsa is a fucking legend.
As a Leeds hater for 50 years since Revie...you are 100% right and I really hope your fresh, attacking football gets the points you deserve...

Really intelligent questions asked here, very well done interviewer

I think Bamford will be a great coach/ manager in 15 years from now.
Bielsa 💛💙
Bamford 💛💙
The best manager in the world, Pep, and others were benefited from his tactics.

Bielsa is the best.
Cuantos jugadores de leeds jugaron para sus selecciones en la fecha fifa?

If you think Leeds pressing is too demanding, try playing in Liverpool, Man City, and now Chelsea. I'm sure you will love it👍

Bmaford has to be the most well spoken PL player. He sounds very aristocratic to my American ears.
He's highly intelligent turned down a place at Harvard to try and make it as a footballer.
Patrick! Sort your ankle out sharpish mate!
Nice to see Patrick join ppl like Joey Barton and Kevin Davies in the England
One Cap Club.
He looks like George Michael. Patrick WHAMford
Don’t give 2 fools about murderball just need you back banging goals in, any time frame on the return?

Most of the players were
Pretty much all of them are until Bielsa came in
