Chaweng road walk cut short because of the rain! Koh Samui, Thailand

- Tonight I went for a walk down the Main strip of Chaweng Beach Road to show you what's new. I was walking down but the rain stopped the tour, it rained so hard that I had to.stop and take cover and wait. It was not so busy so we will be back next week to walk again!

I really enjoyed my trip to Koh Samui and Koh Phagnan last week.
It made me realize that so many people in the South of Thailand (and many other hot, muggy parts of Asia) wish they could spend November, December and January in Northern Thailand in Chiang Rai or Chiang Mai.
It's so nice to wake up to COOL weather and need to wear a JACKET in the morning but still have BEAUTIFUL WARM DRY SUNNY afternoons.
While people in Koh Samui are suffering from hot, muggy temperatures every day!
See? Part of the beauty of travel is that you appreciate the ADVANTAGES of your home that the vacation spot DOESN"T HAVE and will NEVER EVER have. :)

Yes but lucky at 8:30 there was a break and the rain stopped for a hour for people to run and light there lotus boats!

Hello happy anniversary coming up! I did try to do a hotel review of Peace but they said no at the time. I didn't get a chance to go back. I will try to get there again for you before March.

Day and night restaurant two doors down from hooters is high class VIP restaurant food is fantastic and so is the ambience best meal we both had in chaweng by a mile such a great place to take your wife or girlfriend for a class meal -as a xmas gift real high class and totally recommended to expat on holiday. If on limited budget take her to the third floor skybar - real high-class and take photos really really brilliant. Cannot underrestimate the VIP class of this restaurant will be telling all my Thai friends to go and looking forward for the family to return there over xmas and New year

its been raining for weeks in low season dont bother coming to chaweng until weather breaks around xmas and new years. been there for ten days and my holiday was very wet and disappointing

No such thing here. You can head to sizzler in Bangkok ! Best way to get all that

We are staying at bhundhari beach bungalow how far from the strip is it will 8t take long go walk
@@girls4truth Bhundhari Chaweng Beach Resort is at the very top.of the beach. It's around a 30 min walk to the main bars but there is a truck taxi that I'll take you for round 100 BAHT. It's a easy walk lots of bars ans restaurants to see while you walk.

Hello papas.am checking in to chawing residence on 23dec was wandering is it far from the main strip . Walking or bhat bus. This is my first time on koi samui. Good afternoon! Yes you will be walking for about 30 mins to get to the middle of the Chaweng area. It’s only a 5-10 min walk for some good food so it’s all ok! The best would to catch a truck taxi for now it’s 100 baht to take you into the middle of the bars and clubs. It’s not bad at all. I would like to meet all 3 of you yes! @planetpapas9329 yes that's a go' will b getting a vip bus from pattaya on the 22nd.hope to arrive on early on 23 then catch the early ferry.
@planetpapas9329 that would be fine if you can get us a hotel closer to the action 'budget is about 2000 a nite.we are staying for 3nights maybe longer if we enjoy ourselves. I can cancel my hotel up to the 20th.
