Is the beach nice for swimming? Because it looks a bit difficult because of the low tide and the rocks ?
Sometimes it's very shallow but all you have to do is walk a few meters to the right and the tide should be safer to swim with less rocks. The tide should be ok for the upcoming months

@@Rudy-kl5mf great question! They are different! Chaweng is more people more bars, clubs, more active.Lamai is great for getting to know locals and more relaxed with some great live music . You can watch Lamai vs Chaweng on my videos

Me and my girlfriend are planning to visit Koh Samui in march and stay for 8-9 nights, it´s part of a 5 week vacation to Thailand. We have looked at many of your videos and we appreciate your way of showing the Island. We thinking of staying at one of the beachfront hotels at either Lamai or Chaweng. Wich one do you prefer thinking of it like a couple on vacation? And do you have any specific hotel you liked more than the other? Regardless if you have reviewed them or not. Thanks alot for all you do!
Hello! I can only say both are amazing choices. Chaweng is great if you like people watching and you can have fun ot keep it a quiet holiday, Lamai is the holiday to relax and all the locals will get to know your name and more peaceful. Lamai hotels The Pavillian, Ammatata Pura, and cheaper Aloha or the Weekender. Chaweng The Mercure, Buri Rasa, and cheaper is Chaweng Cove, La Vita
Hello, we may be planning for 7 nights in koh samui with family. Selected Chewang beach for 4 nights, suggest any other place for 3 nights .
@@soumyadey6935 depends on what you like to do please look at CHOENGMON and fisherman’s village both are great family beaches.
Also Lamai is great! Open beach and many great places to eat. It’s so easy to get around the island with a shared taxi tuk tuk so you can’t go wrong

Which is the best month to visit Koh Samui with family?
@@soumyadey6935 peak season during end of December to March is a great time. April is less people but very hot. The only bad time is Nov where it’s heavy rainy season. Most of Samui is very family friendly. Best areas for family is CHOENGMON, silver beach, fisherman’s area. Also Lamai is great and Chaweng is full of life but you can stay a little further back from the hub. The real answer is weather and everything was Feb. but most expensive
